Hello Thucker,
Thank you for posting an educational post about your understanding of the knowledge gathered in this course. Identifying the needs of the audience is crucial in making them understand the severity of the problem. To enhance further understanding of the problem to your audience, you may consider providing the audience with additional information about the population health problem associated with air pollution. You may discuss the association of air pollution with illnesses such as lung cancer and asthma (Balali-Mood et al., 2016). You may also want to efficiently discuss ways in which air pollution is associated with a particular health problem. To effectively do this, you can explain whether the environmental factor is a possible risk factor to the health problem. Another primary concern for your audience may be the significance of the health risk associated with air pollution in terms of morbidity, mortality, incidence, prevalence, and cost to society (Flachs et al., 2013). To effectively do this, you can discuss these aspects by providing appropriate data from credible sources. I am curious, what is the distribution of cases of air pollution in the U.S?

Hello Pearson,
Thank you for posting an educational post about your understanding of the knowledge gathered in this course. Your post has several strengths that convey the purpose of your discussion to the audience. First, the accurate description of the relationship between pesticides and pulmonary diseases allows the audience to understand the association between the two (Remoundou & Koundouri, 2009). Secondly, the subsequent description of health risk’s significance enables the audience to follow your work correctly. Also, your post displays a proper understanding of analysis of the health risk the environmental agent has on the general population health. Another primary concern for your audience may be on information on aspects of prevalence morbidity and mortality. You failed to provide information on these aspects (Langley & Mort, 2012). A strategy that may help you is by discussing these aspects by providing data from credible sources. Allow me to ask, what are the common pulmonary diseases that arise from exposure to pesticides?

Hello Dr. Borteh,
The problem of secondhand smoke and third-hand smoke is a significant public concern. Over the years, various organizations have come up to sensitize the public on the effects of passive smoking. Everybody has a right to breathe clean air. There is no healthy amount of secondhand smoke exposure, which causes heart disease, cancer, and many other illnesses. Smoke-free laws are prevailing everywhere they are enforced, and those laws do not affect businesses. Whatever the level of income, every nation can introduce effective smoke-free legislation (Frazer et al., 2016). The primary purpose of these regulatory provisions is to protect the public. Such laws include bans, local legislation, state laws and regulations, and federal laws and regulations.
