By majoring in fashion merchandise, I believe that my career shall benefit a lot through the skills learnt, therefore, helping me to succeed well in that industry. However, the knowledge would also help me to start my own company or retail shop that majors in fashion and its designs. The other benefit that I would achieve through studying fashion merchandise in your college is that I will be able to determine and forecast fashion trends. This would help me a lot in forecasting the price of merchandise; thus, I would be able to create a clear visual display that would help me make special promotions. The other benefit that I would gain would be in productivity. This is whereby I would be able to predict the productivity of fashion items, therefore, helping me to succeed while buying fashion items. All these benefits would only be achieved if I had the necessary knowledge in the field of fashion and fashion merchandise itself.
