As a result, the provision of a conducive working environment leads to improved employee well-being, increased satisfaction, motivation, and morale, hence enhancing productivity. For instance, Pourbarkhordari et al. (2016) state that transformational leadership creates a satisfying organizational culture that enhances employee engagement, motivation, morale, and improved performance due to the creation of shared values in the workplace. Transformational leaders inspire and influence employees to perform beyond their expected capabilities and achieve high results. An article by Mubarak (2014) also states that leadership behavior plays an essential role in enhancing success in organizations. The author says that positive leaders create a healthy working environment, thus encouraging employees and making them feel good, which results in increased performance. From the two articles, I have learned that good leadership behaviors result in increased employee motivation and morale in the workplace. I have also learned that good leadership creates a conducive working environment for employees, hence boosting their productivity.

A year ago, I worked in a certain company where our department manager exhibited a high level of good leadership behavior. The manager was highly charismatic and used a transformational leadership style to encourage, inspire, and motivate employees. The manager created a strong employee relationship and a supportive environment by engaging the employees in both job activities and decision-making processes. He also encouraged the employees to improve their skills and expertise by learning from others. The manager created a working environment where every employee felt respected and valued, making them develop a sense of belongingness. As a result, the employees‘ sense of satisfaction, motivation, and morale improved significantly, leading to increased performance and productivity. The company profits also rose drastically.
