Mark Twain is Samuel Langhorne Clemens’ pen name. He was born in Florida in 1835, on 30th November. He was a journalist, writer, novelist, publisher, humorist, and lecturer. Some of his most famous novels include The Adventure of Tom Sawyer, which he wrote in 1876 and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in 1884, which is also known as The Great American Novel. This writer overcame limitations brought his way by his origin and childhood background to become America’s beloved and one of the best authors. To honor this great name, there are several places named after Mark Twain, and they include:

 

Mark Twain National ForestMark Twain National Forest lies on vast public land, which is over 1.5 million acres. It occupies 29 counties of Missouri and has more than 750 miles for horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, and motor activities trails.
