Small Entrepreneurial Ideas to Start at University
As I was going on with my daily activities in the past week, I noticed several business opportunities that, if well, ventured, they can help any student earn some extra money. One, a quick look at most student’s behavior in their free time, I noticed that most of them are on their phones or laptops. As a result, I realized that one could prosper by becoming a YouTuber. Whether it’s the ads that youtube places on your videos or something else that comes with having a successful channel, there is some serious money to make by YouTubing. Two, reselling textbooks. At the end of the semester, offer to buy your classmate’s books and resell them at the beginning of a new semester at a price higher than you bought them for but lower than the cost of a new copy.
Three, selling old clothes using Depop application. It’s simple, scout out some hidden and no longer in use clothes from college students, and sell them online to Depop for a profit. Four, run a delivery service. In the morning, you could bring the students and lecturers ready breakfast and newspapers to their doorstep and probably deliver McDonald’s and beer combos in the evening. Five, start a film screening club. Since most students like hanging out together, one can arrange to show a film on the big screens and sell tickets to willing friends and course mates who might be interested. Six, get paid to queue. Most students dislike queueing but respect and accept the order. As a result, one may choose to endure the misery on someone else’s behalf at a fee.
Seven, grow and sell fresh fruits and vegetables. It’s easy to produce loads of different types of fruits and vegetables, primarily if you reside from home. Luckily, some of these plants can be grown indoors without having to acquire proper pots. Eight, start babysitting job. Some students find it hard taking care of their kids and attending classes at the same time. They would take their children to a babysitter for a small fee for them to find time for classes or even going out sometimes. Babysitting jobs will work better for those people who enjoy the company of children.
Nine, organize student trips. Often, college and university students have a lot of free time, especially during weekends. Therefore, an idea of scouting out popular festivals and organizing a trip for yourself and few more students may be a bright idea. Willing students wouldn’t mind paying you some commission for implementing the whole plan. Ten, become a sports coach for local or university teams. If you are good at a particular sport or you have always desired to teach games, get paid by either becoming a coach to a nearby club or even the university team.
