Professional profile
Vincent Nyoike
I am a graduate of Bachelors of Science (Applied Statistics with Computing) from the University of Eldoret. Before I graduated in November 2018, I had started a course in Certified Public Accountants (CPA). I lost interest in the course before I completed and concentrated on self-acquired skills. Nevertheless, the course has been instrumental, epically when I have to write finance and startup related articles.
I have a great interest in finance, startups and insurance.
How Do I Consider Myself?
I consider myself blessed and in some way an introvert. My hobbies are in travelling and visiting new places. I also like taking walks alone so that I don’t have to waste anyone’s time. I’m this kind of a person who will just stop along the way and stare at this or that. It could be anything, a building, crops or any other thing that sparks my inner ignition to work harder.
I always want to see others achieve that which I considered unachievable. I think this is the reasons why I always want success for other people. It gives me the motivation and belief that anything is achievable.
During high school, I would always find myself reading motivational novels. My favourite novel up to date remains; “Poor dad, Rich dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. I had this notebook where I used to write down motivational quotes. I still have it and my sister Mercy always makes a joke about it.
My Dream
Life is uncertain and I never knew at any time that I would be an online entrepreneur or writer at some point. It is until I met the SEO Crew when I discovered that I had great potential as a writer. At some point, I wanted to become a lawyer until my high school grades proved it futile. It was a blessing in disguise.
“Whether you think you can, or you can’t, you are right.” Henry Ford.
With time, my focus changed to business startups. Since then, I have entrepreneurial-minded and my focus is to set up ventures that create opportunities for the youth.
What Have I Never Done?
Damn it! There are many things that I have never done. But one thing that fascinates me most is that I have never attended a job interview. It sounds funny, right? Anyway, if it is God’s will, I want it to remain that way.
Where Do I see myself in Future?
I want to be an accomplished entrepreneur to bridge the gap for products and labor in the market. Ultimately, I want to see myself and a loving husband and father to my kids.
