Christians believe that critical incidents can never be prevented and due to their occurrences leaves the victim is a situation of depression marital discord, trauma, and anxiety (Monroe, 2017). In cases where an individual feel like they are lost or have rather lost everything; a condition in which someone starts losing interest in living, they can turn to the word of God, the Bible to console them and help restore their spiritual life. In Paul’s epistle to Timothy (2nd Timothy 3;16, n.d), he instructs the word of God is basic in teaching, training, and correcting us to be effective servants.

A successful community can only be determined by their readiness when it comes to responding to a given disaster to a person’s life. That is why the two approaches come in. These approaches have proven effective because they provide a broad way of understanding a given incident through finding first-hand information and providing valuable solution. Furthermore, the team involved are aware of neglecting the emotional and psychological impacts, and handling the physical impacts of the incident.
