The principles governing the right or wrong will be critical in determining the behaviour of an individual. Morality is subjective. In this regard, some actions may be deemed as universal across various culture around the world, for instance, help strangers, respect other people, and defer to superiors. These acts are found in more than sixty cultures all over the world. They are useful in ensuring that society is kept together because when there is no morality, it is impossible to maintain a social life. Being moral is critically important in ensuring an excellent reputation.
Argument
Morality is critically important in ensuring that the social fabrics of society are maintained. A clear conscience helps in ensuring that an individual is psychologically healthy and prevents the problem with the law. Immoral behaviours are questioned by those in authority.
Thesis: Human beings are social animals; human actions have significant impacts on our surrounding and others around us.
Discussion
The theory can be useful in explaining morality is the utilitarianism theory, which helps in ensuring the maximum amount of happiness from the actions that we undertake. In this regard, it provides that the actions are either right or wrong depending on the significant effects they are inflicting to the community members. The actions can either cause good or bad effects.
Argument
Human actions should be able to govern their behaviours so that they do not only injure themselves but also the community. The control systems of our behaviours and actions are critical in enabling an individual to operate in a social environment or social circle. In this regard, a set of morals are useful in governing our actions within a social environment/circle. Immoral behaviours will make an individual be excluded from social activities or face the wrath of laws/cultural norms.

The utilitarianism theory is useful in governing the behaviours of an individual, as they will be judged as right or wrong.
