It has 8 output points that are divided into two isolated groups with 4 points each. Every group contains a separate common which are not tied together in the module. The two groups can be powered from a single supply or used on separate AC supply phases. The GE Fanuc IC694MDL330 Output Module must have user-supplied AC power for loads linked to the outputs to operate. The IC694MDL330 Output Module can only operate with AC power supply, but cannot function using a DC power supply.

The two groups of the GE Fanuc IC694MDL330 Output Module are safeguarded with a 5 Amperes fuse for each common. Every output has an RC snubber for protection in case of transit electrical noise. This output module has an operating temperature ranging from 0 to 60 degrees C (32 to 140 degrees F). A storage temperature range between -40 to 85 degrees C (-40 to 185 degrees F) and anon-condensing humidity starting from 5 to 95%.
