Ways of worship
Praises is a way of thanksgiving and uplifting of your God. They are many ways that are used to praise by different people and denominations. Mostly, some people like to offer their praises with a group of people in church or other preferred places. The bible in Matthew 18:20 say, where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst. Giving praise in a church is more overwhelming and exciting because you can get encouragement from other people and, their testimonies can uplift you.
Giving praise can also be done in quiet places. If you are a person who prefers meditation; you can use silence to focus more on God. That way, you can have a deeper connection, especially if you are not free and shy in public places you can take advantage of your privacy to be more submissive to God without fear of being judged. Other ways of praise include giving offerings, fasting, giving to the poor and thanksgiving. Thanksgiving can be done in many ways like, through prayers and testifying the goodness of the Lord. Giving an offering to church Is also a form of praise. In proverbs, 3:9 says we should honour the Lord with your wealth with the fruits of all your crops. Honouring God and giving praise can be done through fasting. When fasting, we give up on eating thus showing devotion to the Lord.
In conclusion, the three forms of worship mentioned here can be effective depending on a person’s preference. God does not discriminate praise that comes from a sincere and holy heart. According to John 4:21, people should worship the Father in spirit and truth.
