Task 1
Strategize
The strategy is an essential aspect of every business. It is crucial to align the mission and vision statement with the goals that one tends to achieve. The first step in strategizing would be to make the goal known by the entire team. The process of achieving these goals must also be outlined in a clear and precise manner. Every purpose must relate to the vision and mission. The goal will determine the kind of content that would be appropriate to the audience.
Plan
Planning determines the rate at which the contents will be delivered to the public and the kind of content that will be available. After analyzing the sort of content that most people love, I will create a content calendar that would ensure consistency in content provision. The type of puzzle that is more interesting to people will be given the priority. I also plan to publish content at the appropriate time when most people can visit the site. Different promotional methods will also be used to make the site popular. I will develop a plan sheet that will remind team members of the plan and keep everything in track.
Create
The main of the site is to meet the desires and needs of the client. The site is supposed to help puzzle game lovers to enjoy more games at the comfort of their home through an online platform, or order a puzzle game to play physically. Different puzzle games will be created to meet different tastes. The audience will give their feedback; through the input, the team can learn about the content that is in demand. Most of the games will be available online, with the most popular ones offered in physical form. The type of puzzle game will determine whether it can be played physically or only through an online platform. Good content must be engaging and helpful to the audience.

Maintenance is important in content marketing. People are expecting to find fresh content every time that they visit a website. It is, therefore, necessary that new content is uploaded daily. The audience can also reduce if the content is not shared through different platforms. I will ensure that I upload new content in all social media platforms, emails, and other places such as Google in maintenance. To reach a wider audience, it will be necessary to create content that is liked by different people. There must be content for word lovers, figure lovers, and those who like graphic puzzles.
Audit
The team will do daily, weekly and monthly audits. The daily audit will play a big role in knowing the right time to post content and understand the type of content received faster and the ones that take longer to reach the audience.
Govern
Some laws are guiding the content marketing. It is important to govern the type of content delivered and ensure that it does not go against journalistic ethics and the rights of other people. Plagiarism and any content that infringes copyrights will not be tolerated. All content must meet the set standards.
I will appoint a designer, a developer, and a content manager. These three people will help with the daily operation of the business.
Developer- The developer will make the code that is necessary for online game creation. The developer will also think of ways that the game can be reinvented and played in physical form.
Designer- The designer is charged with the duty of laying out the developed game. The designer will also be charged with designing the website and physically played puzzle games.
Content manager- content manager will be responsible for ensuring that all content meets the required quality. He or she will also monitor the progress and recruit people with skills in content marketing.
Task 2
The main analytics tool that I will employ is Google analytics tools. The first KPI that I will look at is the number of sessions and users. Google Analytics will monitor the traffic to the website and record the number of sessions and users within a given period. I will be able to see new users and returning visitors using Google Analytics. Each user will generate a session. Google Analytics is designed in a manner that it cannot give a higher number of users than the number of sessions. The importance of these KPI is that it gives the website’s quantitative development and provides room for more analysis.
New and returning users is also an important and helpful performance indicator in content marketing. New and returning users always exhibit different behaviors, differentiating them, therefore, is very important. Returning visitors are always coming back for a specific thing, but other factors influence new users. It is important to check whether new users find the website interesting enough to stay. Analyzing the new and returning visitors is important because it can give more details on improving performance. It can also help in strategizing on ways of attracting returning visitors.
The bounce rate is also important in knowing whether the needs of the audience are met. Bounce rate determines the number of times that the landing page was visited, and the amount of time spent on the landing page. The bounce rate tells whether the demand has been met by providing the audience with the appropriate content. When visitors leave the page without interacting, and the bounce rate is high, their demand is not met. When the bounce rate is higher, the team must go back to the drawing board and reanalyze the content and come up with something that would make the audience interact with the page. The bounce rate informs about the quality of the website and performance. A low bounce rate is always correlated with a higher number of pages visited, and more time spent on the website.
Average time spent on a page is also an important performance indicator. The Google Analytics tool that focuses on-page tracking helps to measure an individual page’s performance on a website. It shows the quality of traffic on a page. Since each post for puzzle products is located on a specific page, it is easier to use the average time spent on page to determine the best puzzle product. The page that visitors stay for long is a page with the puzzle product that visitors consider relevant. Google Analytics also gives the pages with the highest duration. The performance indicator is important in determining the most interesting content on a website.
Page load time should also be monitored. In this technological era, most people do not tolerate pages that take long to load. Loading time also plays an important role in organic search ranking. A good website should work best on the phone and load faster. When loading time is short, it is more likely that most people will visit the website, and traffic quality will improve, and the bounce rate will reduce.
Task 3
Different revenue streams can generate revenues for my website. Some of these are direct, and others are indirect revenues. Both direct and indirect revenues are good sources for revenues. I will use the advertising and sponsorship method to drive direct revenues. After growing a considerable audience size, several companies will be interested in connecting directly to my audience. Utilizing both traditional and native advertising is important in generating revenues. The traditional method involves companies advertising through your content by making their advertisements pop up whenever someone is viewing the content. Native advertisement involves displaying sponsored content as one of the ways of generating revenues. I believe that these tow advertisement strategies can generate many revenues for the company.
Sponsorship is also a method of directly generating income. Sponsorship involves underwriting a piece of content from one company and making it appear in the site. Conferences and events are other sources that I can use to generate direct revenues. I can organize events and conferences. Some of the events that I believe can be attended by many puzzle game lovers are puzzle game competition. The audience will pay for the tickets to attend and participate in the competition.
On the other hand, companies can also sponsor the event to promote their brand. I will also introduce the premium contents. I will create a registration platform for puzzle gamers and allow them to play for a given period for free. Then they will have to pay a given sum to enjoy access to puzzle games for a given period. The physically played puzzle games will also be sold at a fee. There will also be the option of subscribing to some of the platforms to enjoy access to the content. Some of the methods that I plan to use are also indirect sources of revenue.
Indirect revenues involve creating content, marketing it, and creating a good relationship with the audience to fund the business’s goals. Using the product win revenue, I will write content that will make audiences interested in buying some of the products offered on the website. Some of them will also be interested in the services that are being offered through content. When the products or services are bought or offered at a fee, revenue is generated. Keep revenue is also another source of indirect revenue generation. Even though it is an old method, it is still worth the effort. I will create a list of my customers and deal with them directly through email to keep their loyalty. They will be updated on the changes, new games, and other things related to the specific product, service, subscription, or premium service that they bought. Yield increase grows revenue is another way of ensuring that more customers are attracted to buy the products. Using the acquired customers’ data, I will create targeted and consistent content to build better customers with time. When all these monetizing methods are applied, I believe that I will generate more revenue for the business.
Task 4
Social media strategy overview
Goals
I have identified and set the goals that aim to achieve with social media content strategic marketing. I have looked deeply into the products that I tend to offer and the audience that I need and come up with goals that have helped plan how to reach out to them. One of my social media strategy’s main goals is to increase the number of new and returning visitors through social media with at least 30%. To achieve this, I have strategized on how to move more people into the landing page through content.
Plan
Through the content that I have created, I have looked at the posts that are performing well, social media platforms that are working well, and the type of content that is good for each platform. Analyzing the data from this content has made it possible to plan on the type of content I will publish. I have managed to understand the type of content that is appropriate for different platforms. I plan to ensure that the content goals directly align with the report from the analysis. The content will be audited regularly to know the performance of each post.
Content calendar
I have built a content calendar that helps me to visualize my ideas and organize them. The content calendar has done my work to be easy to execute. I am using the content calendar to schedule posts across the different platforms and to indicate the best time to post on each platform.
More strategies to make things better
Promoting and distributing content
I am currently looking for ways to distribute the content to reach as many people as possible. I aim to establish a content distribution strategy that will enable my post to reach the highest number of people within the shortest period possible. In all the blogs, a share button will be included to share it with friends and other social media platforms or websites. I will also make engaging posts that would make the audience respond to the comment section or share their social media replies. I also plan to recruit a person that will be responding and reposting people who share my content. The person will also help in interacting with the audience by replying to their queries.
Measuring the result
I believe that a good social media strategy involves measuring all the effort made to marketing the content. I want to have detailed metrics of my content performance. Metrics and consistent audit will play a major role in optimizing my plan. I will use Google Analytics and perse.ly to create detailed metrics of social media content. I will analyze how the contents have been performing over time and the contribution of each content to achieving the business’s goals and objectives. Some of the social media metrics that I consider to be important include awareness, engagements, and ROI. Awareness metrics will inform me of how many times people saw my content. The engagements will show how many people commented, clicked, liked, shared, or reacted to the posts. ROI will give detailed information on conversions and referrals from external sources.
Task 5
Style Manual
I will adopt the APA stylebook for writing style for the blogs and other writings. In addition to that, the proper grammar must be used. Plagiarism is not allowed at all costs. The puzzle games must be built on an idea that is not copied from other games in a manner that infringes on copyrights. All content created and published for the business belongs to the business.
Commonly Troublesome Words
For any confusing or troubling word, the proper USA spelling system must be applied. All compound words must be hyphenated all the time. Dictionary should be used for any confusing word. Words like Website, Internet, Facebook, iPhone, iPad must be written in these forms. Whenever in doubt, use an online dictionary to confirm the correct spelling acceptable in the USA spelling system.
Style and Tone
The games created should be educative, challenging, and self-explanatory. The games should be elegant and engaging. Written contents must be engaging and entertaining. Difficult vocabularies should be avoided. Descriptions of how to play the game should be in layman’s language.
Graphics and Formatting
The graphics used in making games should be of high quality. All other formatting rules should obey the APA style. Headings must be bold. The use of different colors and images is allowed in content blogging. Italics should not be used.
Approved and Unapproved content
Puzzle games and contents that do not infringe copyrights will be approved for posting. Copied contents and plagiarized works will fall under unapproved content. Depending on the unapproved work’s quality, the content creator will be allowed to correct content to meet the required standards.
Sourcing
All sources, footnotes, references, and links to the external sites must obey the APA formatting style. The link to the APA style guide will be provided.
