Definitely, the two types of databases are different, for instance, we are told that “NoSQL stores data in a way other than relational table”. It shows the first distinction which gives one confidence that the two have got a unique application. They also have a different approach when it comes to utilizing them in one way or the other. Besides, NoSQL is much better than the SQL database. For instance, we are told that “it allows the related date to be rested within a single data structure. In my view, this type of database is vital and one needs to be familiar with how it is used.

Every database is important depending on how it is being used and the place where it needs to be applied. NoSQL and SQL itself have distinct features that make them different from each other despite having a slight similarity. After reading the learning materials, I am convinced that NoSQL is much better than the latter. For example, it “can store a relationship data, just stored differently. Under this, SQL cannot store relationship data whose storage is different. Therefore, my choice for the best type of database to be used will be the NoSQL as per my claim above.

After reading the notes on the database, I was really amazed by how they are applied in our real-life situation. It is not the first time I have ever questioned myself on how data on laptops, phones, and computers are stored and at the same time how they are retrieved if they have been lost. I realized this after I read about the document database in which my choice fell to a key-value database. It is able to store large amounts of data. Also, I found it to be simple to use because the database entails only keys together with values.
