Community Program to address the need for Healthcare Funding
Introduction
Individuals representing various points in opinions are the Health policy agreement group of the coalition in the organization. Health resource works with individuals or organizations committed in financing to advance health. Healthcare Funding refers to the accumulation and allocation of money to cover the health needs of the people both individually and collectively in the health system, the purpose is to make the funds available for everyone and the running of health facilities including buying medication and all the medical care requirements.
The community program that can be used for healthcare funding is through congress, this is because they are the lawmakers and they can affect the move in parliament and make some legislative laws that help with the representation to the people who cannot afford healthcare facilities (McIntyre, & Thiede, 2007). This is done through the state senator in the forums to help in the pushing of ideas to the congress for implementation.
Need for Healthcare funding
The cost of healthcare is very costly hence it requires bosting financially for the planning process and implementation successfully. The reason for government funding is because the cost of healthcare is expensive and it put a strain in the overall economy, in addition to that poverty level is high and not everybody has medical cover or able to afford healthcare funds, this reason is making the cost of healthcare hard to sustain. The amount of money spent per individual is higher that many are not able to afford.
Healthcare funding is done by the government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid in addition to that there are also private health insurance plans that are provided by the healthcare facilities and other individuals who can provide their funds.
Problems of Healthcare Funding
Healthcare system has a lot of challenges that are affecting them directly and indirectly, most of the healthcare in different countries undergo neglect leading a lot of challenges according to the World Health Organization who is the main foundation of healthcare delivery. The challenges are lack of human resources, this is because many people live below the poverty level and cannot afford healthcare facilitation, and as a result, they require other donations or help from different sources (Bennett, & Gilson, 2001). The other challenge is that the allocation to healthcare during the financial budgetary year is not enough to help resolve the challenges that healthcare is experiencing.
Healthcare Funding policies Implementation
The challenges that the healthcare is undergoing can be implemented through training of health care management personnel so that they can direct the healthcare energy the right direction, besides healthcare forum can be organized to discuss the problems that affect the industry and hence come up with solutions.
The government should also increase budgetary allocations that’s will help facilitate healthcare, when this is done the facilities will be able to afford medication and have better facilities that will help in giving good services (McIntyre, & Thiede, 2007). The budgetary allocation is increased there will be affordable services provided this is because individuals will not be paying a lot of money to afford healthcare; the move will help the whole community.
The policies can also be pushed forward through awareness-raising events this will help in convincing the state government (Bennett, & Gilson, 2001). The need for healthcare funding since not everyone can afford the cost of healthcare is either through Insurance plans of personal financing. When raising healthcare awareness funding the main issues like poverty has to be addressed to get results.
