What ways do the duties and responsibilities of the legislator, the justice, the President, and their respective branches of government, interact with one another today?

The branches of the government play interactive roles in the process of executing the federal roles. The federalism power is divided by the power of the federal government and the states government. The justices observe the strict guidelines put by the constitution but the other branches with different powers they check the powers of each other branch to ensure that no branches are over-exercising authorities. With the congress and house of representatives making the law, executive participate in enforcing the law and the judiciary interpreting the law.

How effectively do the branches interact? What differences might there be between how the branches should interact and how the branches currently interact?

the branches have the interdepended roles that make them converge especially in writing the bill of rights.  The effectiveness exists when there is democracy in exercising the powers they are commissioned with in the process of making, exiting and interpreting the law.  the difference that can be there with how the branches interact is attached to the lobbying and partisan manipulation where some bill a shaped to fit the future alliance of certain party. Currently, some of the execution processes are not based on the interest of the public but compromised by the executive powers especially who are nominated by the president.

How does the system of checks and balances serve to limit the concentration of power in the federal government?

The check balance manipulates veto powers where the three branches are unable to exercise much power than the other branch. The branches must include all branched to pass laws that are helpful to the country.

How branches limit the power of each other.

The process of limit each other powers is created by the interdependency of each other branch where the bill cannot become are law before it is vetted by the three branches of the government. Every branch act as a watchdog of each other because should one exert more power it will affect the whole federal status.
