Several measures can be taken to improve the response to this kind of incident in the future. School staff and perhaps the learners can learn effective measures for barricading to prevent any active shooter or attacker from confronting them. Moreover, until paramedics arrive at the crime scene, the staff members can be trained on the basic wound care practices to enable them to attend to those who have been seriously injured. Again, the local police officers can set up an active monitoring system in their workplaces to enable them to view as well as identify the suspects remotely and with much ease.
