Juan from Little Neck New York on Queens

Juan lived in Little Neck New York on Queens. He loves to play basketball and a passionate rapper.

When he was 25 years old, he started having problems. He had his first episode when he was at work. He was stressed out and had a panic attack. Things were getting extreme, and he started thinking

that he can not express and can’t talk. He was trying to figure it out what happened to him, but he could not find the way. He was confused, scared and didn’t know what to do.

He walked around the whole day and tried to cut his wrist with his pocket knife.

His mother was looking for him and called the police.

So, one day he enrolled in the Adult partial program. After five weeks, he decided to go to the early treatment program. There he met with Gracie Thomas and Dr.Bear. After sometime Juan realised that he was getting better.

He had many session with Gracie, and he started feeling comfortable. He looked at his illness the same way someone who has diabetes. So, he took medications and sessions with Gracie. His message for those who are struggling with schizoaffective disorder is to make the right decision and give it a shot and get early treatment.
