my career
Since my childhood, I have always had the aspirations of becoming a professional nurse in a bid to address healthcare challenges for various communities. I desire to enter the associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) program to improve myself in my career and also to advance my knowledge in the world of medicine. With advanced knowledge acquired in the program, I will be in a better position to assist various populations in addressing health concerns. Among the strengths that will be helpful in the program include my intelligence, ability to multitask, good communication qualities, organized, disciple, and dedicated. These are qualities that will facilitate my ability to learn and associate with the instructors and other students. My main weakness is self-criticism. Whenever is doe something to my dissatisfaction, I usually criticize myself and work on ways of perfecting of the identified issues.
My hobbies include watching movies, reading books, adventure, home décor, traveling, and making new associates. Besides, I like conducting research, which I believe will be instrumental in the program considering that the nursing profession is full or research work. My greatest satisfaction is when I got my citizenship since it was a dream come true to me. I always had the aspiration of being an American citizen due to the numerous opportunities in this great country. I managed to buy my own house that also brings me much satisfaction. I have worked in a dental office for six years, and I believe that the experience that I got in this field will be essential in my ADN program. This is because I learned how to make prescriptions and closely work with patients. I am looking forward to being admitted to the program.
