Both approaches are alarming since if the company chooses to act within the given limit, maintaining and restoring resources is sufficient. Nevertheless, there has been a vast increase in the second type of company due to factors such as increasing profitability, effective resource management, and cost-minimizing. Every company is required to have ethics both to the environment and the members.
In carrying out daily business activities, good ethics is a common word. It gives guidelines on how a businessman is supposed to be environmentally and socially responsible. With good ethics, a company will be able to produce less harmful products to both human beings and the environment. Environmental restoration and marketing of products ensure that the business is responsible for both ethically and socially. As a result, the company must take the steps and act within limits given by the government rules and environment board.
Homocentric approach companies make use of the same production process and technology in all production places. However, this may not be considered for the environment globally since it can cause harm to the environment where the company is located. On the other side, the biocentric approach is the best as it uses and produces technology suitable to the environment. The aggressive production process is likely to avoid environmental disturbance. The approach, therefore, aids the country is keeping the environment safe and increasing resources capacity in the environment. The fact is, the interest of the environment or rather, nature doesn’t always coordinate with human interest. As a result, the environment has drastically changed compared to human society. Environmental changes are usually triggered by the ignorance of people’s welfare and inventing technically advanced products. Any increase in human interest poses a threat to natural resources. Human beings should either learn how to keep the environment safe or learn to control technology usage. Suppose environmental interests gets ignored by human interest. It will result in unwanted environmental issues as a result of the resource restoration process.
The environment is common for individuals companies and the government. Everyone depends on the environment to survive, but taking care of the environment has been left to the government. It is funny how companies and individuals find ways to spoil the resources instead of reconstructing and restoring it.
