How to Increase Airflow in the RV
During these hot seasons, it is hard to stay in the house or office without an air conditioner. The place can only become conducive if you get a free flow of cool air. It is better to have free movement of cool air rather than stay in an oven for hours. The heat outside would render you sleepless if you were to spend days on your bed in your room. For this reason, even hotels ensure that they have free movement of air in and out of all the rooms they have. For each air conditioner, there is a system in it that works.
The process of getting cool air
It is to your advantage that you understand the way things work within your cooling system. For your air conditioner to work well, some processes occur within it to give off the cool air. If you get to a room then feel hot and sweaty, then this means that either your air conditioner has been switched off, or some changes need to be applied to it. In this case, you will need to adjust the settings of your air conditioner. In case you need the room to have a continuous flow of air circulating from within, then you need to increase the airflow.
In your air conditioner, there is a system that is constantly working. In this system, is where first, the compressor compacts the refrigerated air into vapor. After vaporization, next, the condenser liquefies the vapor into liquid. On liquefying, it goes through the evaporator coils from where heat is gained from to allow vaporization. After the heat has passed from the evaporator coils and has been vaporized, the air that is drawn out from it is now cold air, of which is given off to the RV.
Although you might have the process in mind, you will need to ensure that there is no dirt getting to your air conditioner. Dirty air will always cause your air conditioner to emit hot air since its coolant has been obstructed with dirt particles or in some cases, animal fur such as dog’s skin.
Ways to help improve on the free flow of air
There are some ways in which you can use to help ensure that there will always be a free flow of air in your room. This include:
- Ensure that you install roof covers to ensure that there is no hot air getting into your room. The good roof covers help in ensuring that there is only cool air that is passing into your house.
- Minimize your usage on heating electrical appliances, such as heaters, toasting machines, or cooking items such as the stove. These appliances only add to increasing the temperature of the house.
- You should purchase and install fans. They help in ensuring that cool air is flowing across the rooms well and in a regulated manner. This helps to maintain the cool air in the house.
- As for the filters in your air conditioners, ensure that they are always well cleaned. When cleaning, use very warm water to dust off and clean off all the dirt within it. The filters play an important role in ensuring that there is clean cool air passing through, but if there is dirt on them, it makes their work difficult close to low performance hence having cool air freely flow will be difficult.
- It would be good if you always ensured that your windows are always closed. If they stay open, the cool air will escape the room, making it difficult to have continuous cool air circulating through the room.
- Identify the rooms that need to be cooled off in intervals so that you can have a conducive flow of air in your house. Areas such as your bathroom should remain closed, but as for your bedrooms, you can alternate them with your living room and kitchen depending on the time you need to be having cool air flowing through your house or rooms.
- Ensure that your air conditioner is in perfect shape and condition. This will help lower the chances of your air conditioner getting faulty.
It is important to have cool air passing through your house during the hot times of the year. This will help there be a free flow of oxygen in and out of your house. The least effort that you could put to ensure that there will always be a flow of air is ensuring that your air conditioner is clean but more so, your house is clean and free from dust.
