Peer Review of Genre Shift
A poster is a communication feature that communicates the research or understanding of a certain topic in a short and concise format. A poster is made up of two elements which include a poster and a brief explanation. It consists of different sections such as title, summary, a short introduction, aims and objectives, methodology, results, discussions, and conclusions. In my second text, I will use posters to educate the community about the advantages of recycling. I chose to use posters in conveying this message because it is easily visible and I can disperse them around the community to increase the spread of my intended message. Through this genre of communication, I will be able to provide a pictorial representation of my message and encourage an active response.
