Executive Summary
Statistical data was offered as a scenario for designing and implementing the presentation of the poster. This scenario was based on higher education and frequent use of electronic mail for communication particular to employees. SPSS software was implemented so that data visualisation could be done based on a given dataset. The poster presentation demonstrates dataset and collective results for the survey questionnaire. However, representation should be clear with the help of specific histograms. Hence, critique offers other options to make changes in the poster for better results. The following report has provided solutions for different software in survey questionnaire dataset.

Introduction
Statistical analysis is an essential concern for the organisation because it helps to take important decisions. However, the lack of description for data creates confusion for the audiences. Therefore, descriptive statistics is necessary for alignment of data collection. Therefore, descriptive statistics is necessary for alignment of data collection. Hence, statistical analysis software is used for producing descriptive statistics based on certain research.
Furthermore, a combination of statistical analysis and data visualisation is another benefit for taking better business decisions (Import.io, 2019). The UK sector uses electronic mail communication method inside higher education institutions. However, a new training and implementation plan are needed for the propagation of electronic usage in employees and other staff members. To represent the survey results, descriptive statistical analysis software is used for clear understanding. However, the lack of appropriate and simple software could produce vague data visuals. Hence, the pictorial poster requires better use of statistical analysis software to highlight the collected survey results.
Without the right software poster presentation, the author cannot bring any creative output for given posters. Besides, the good visualisation should follow the Gestalt principle that shows how human brain map visual through similarity, proximity, closure, connection, enclosure, and continuity Source (Topcoder, 2018). The tools are useful for performing reliability, factor and validity analysis for provided survey question collected data (Zhou, Du and Lei, 2019). This report strategically highlights the correct use of statistical analysis for better data visual inside given pictorial poster.
Poster Description and Dataset Scenario
Critiques for dataset scenario and poster description is important for analysing other’s work for the same assessment. Critiques are an important activity which builds student engagement for increasing participation rates (Macfarlane and Tomlinson, 2017). Therefore, analysis for the poster and dataset is key concern taken into consideration. Additionally, statistical analysis software should also be properly used based on offered situations. Before proceeding towards the dataset scenario, consider poster description first to analyse depiction.
The poster has a green background on which the whole concept for the survey is defined with headings and subheadings. Furthermore, the topic includes an introduction, referencing, analysis, dataset description, conclusion and recommendations. Hence, it covers all the important information relatable to the dataset, respectively. In addition, the pictorial depiction is used for distinct variables such as charts and graphs. The chart and graphs both are not at all appropriate due to lack of correct software usage.
On the contrary, dataset scenario was given for 1010 respondents for poster designing and development. However, poster presentation has not covered everything related to context to the subject. For example, missing content includes a project of variables in the data visuals.
Data Visualization and Interpretation
The data visualisation and Interpretation of poster are described in this section to understand the poster analysis.
Storytelling Principle
In this storytelling feature, a story or narration is provided for the data interpretation. Furthermore, this principle and applicability could be seen in the poster content provided. For example, the introduction depicts the audience who are senior managers considering email usage. However, the storyline is not completely visible due to lack of pie chart, graphs, email information shown into a poster. However, the poster has introduced topic through effective title highlighting into bold content. Consider email usage, which should be explored by offering some statistics.
Visuals
Let’s consider visuals which are implemented on the poster, which is a chart and graphs for the dataset. However, some mistakes are observed in the poster like colour, annotation, background and graphs. Firstly, the colour is very dull because it is green and makes the background very distracting. Second, graphs are all wrong and against the given dataset, as shown in the poster presentation. The graph of the pie chart is represented will dull colours and no percentage value with more than ten elements. It brings confusion in the mind of readers because they are unable to process information. However, font size is of appropriate size, which is a good part of the given poster.
Critique Story and Language
The story of the email survey is shown in the poster without and structure or consistency. The storyline has more content in paragraphs; however, it lacks structure due to the large space on poster depiction. On the contrary, language is not correct because it covers different grammatical errors for spellings. Furthermore, terms are appropriate and in context with the academic writing vocabulary.
Software Tool
SPSS stands for the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, also known as SPSS. Statistical analysis is a process which explores the data and obtains valuable information for the higher education department (Zhang, 2016). It is a statistical analysis software which is used for performing social sciences research. It is widely acknowledged in various research domains like market, health, government, education, organisation, as well as data mining (Piatetsky, 2013). Furthermore, data documentation and visualisation for a given dataset is obtained from the software package.
In this dataset scenario of higher education and email use, visuals are obtained from SPSS statistical analysis software. Additionally, different types of statistics could be done on this platform. Some of them are descriptive statistics, bivariable statistics, linear regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, Geospatial analysis, R extension (GUI) as well as python (Verma, 2015). Thus, SPSS software is a valuable resource used for questionnaire survey. The different types of visuals obtain from software will remark the current situation for using a particular platform. Hence, usage for this tool lacks on the poster because name, data, colour and explanation for visuals are missing.
The representation of data through charts and graphs was improper. Additionally, chart builder provides different types of chart and plots such as bar, line, area, polar, scatter, histogram and dual-axis (www5.unescobkk.org, 2020). Hence, charts are a key part of any statistics software to depict dataset. In context with a poster presentation, it lacks the proper usage of chart builder. For example, consider line graph it is vague and just shows two x and y-axis for training. However, the line graph requires a proper depiction from lower to higher graph of some usage. Secondly, consider the pie chart it does not have a proper name and does not use percentage out of the whole 100 per cent of the circular graph. Therefore, proper usage of SPSS software could have delivered an effective visual for email usage. Still, poster author should use the following instructions as shown in below snapshot of software.

Positive and Negative Aspect of Poster
After analysing the poster, there are different aspects of visualisation which should be considered effectively.
Positives:
One of the important positives of the poster is proper text with headings and subheadings and references. This benefit depicts that research for data visualisation and the dataset is done completely by the author. The second benefit is the incorporation of the storyline for what poster will show and how the dataset was used. Furthermore, the attempt to design visual is also seen for a line graph and pie chart.
Negatives:
Another set of negatives are found after analysis of the poster made by the author. Firstly, the colour of the background is not appropriate; however, it is RAG colour. Green seems the dullest colour and makes the poster very lacking to the reader. Secondly, grammatical errors for spelling mistakes make readability lacking. Third, although the poster has some data visuals, they are inappropriate to the dataset. Figure 1 shows drawbacks but for what purpose and the circular graph is also not showing percentage. Hence, data visuals are lacking in poster due to lack of software used for statistical analysis.
Recommendation on Poster
Following recommendations for the poster are made:
- Background colour should not RAG because it makes them dullest.
- The text should be limited and must not have any grammatical mistakes.
- Use of graphs and chart should be as per all elements.
- The storyline should be followed for the chosen topic.

Conclusion
To conclude, the purpose of this report was analysis for poster content and data visualisation used for data given. However, email usage is discussed on the poster, which is missing from the data visuals. It was identified that SPSS software was not used properly for showing the survey questionaries’ results effectively. Therefore, the report discussed the limitation of the poster so that changes could be made in future usage.
Additionally, components of SPSS software should be used clearly; for example, some components include output viewers, pivot tables, and charts. However, both charts depicted lacks everything in First Place for a given dataset. Hence, recommendations are made for using statistics software for analysis of the dataset. Therefore, the poster author could have used the software properly so that results could be projected correctly.
