The Holy Spirit plays various roles in the course of teaching and learning processes. Mainly, teachings in a bible study are done in a group by a teacher. The teachers, in this case, are the Holy Spirit as well as the group leader. A bible study is always guided by two different teachers who are the Holy Spirit and the bible study group leaders. The Holy Spirit plays a very crucial role in the teaching process and which most of us are never willing to admit since He is always His physically absent, unlike a group leader.
In the course of discipleship, group teachers do not work alone, but they are provided with the teachings they offer by the Holy Spirit. The fact is evident in the book of Matthew 28:18-20 whereby it is stated that the plans of Jesus to come up with His disciples entails selecting of human teachers and who work under the guideline of God’s word.
