STREET CLINIC PROPOSAL
- Introduction
The “Street Clinic” will be focusing on the issues that are currently facing the residents of Nakuru and the whole world at large. The program will be creating awareness among the needy in the society as well as providing support. Given the fact that the pandemic has hardly hit street families and less fortunate elderly members of society, they will be the primary beneficiaries of the project. The program will conform to the COVID-19 safety guidelines put in place by the National Government and the World Health Organization.
- Significance of the program
- The program will bring the County Government of Nakuru and other stakeholders close to the people of Nakuru
- The program will restore hope among needy members of society
- The program will help protect the needy from the risks of contracting COVID-19 through the provision of safety gear
- The program will help the county government reach more citizens, thus enhancing service delivery to the neediest members of society
- Activities
- Cleaning up Nakuru Town
- Providing protective gear to the targeted persons (Face mask and hand sanitizers)
- Educating the targeted persons about the pandemic and how to overcome it
