Donald Trump Sacks White House Officials
Donald Trump admitted that he sacked a high-ranking White House officer in part for the aide’s participation in the impeachment inquest.
Lt Col Alexander Vindman, a Russia and Ukraine expert on the National Security Council (NSC), was escorted from the White House on Friday after the US president ordered his removal.
Mr Alexander provided evidence to House committee trails that directed to Mr Trump impeachment on allegations of misuse of authority and impeding Congress concerning to a movement by the president to compress Ukraine into scrutinizing Joe Biden who is a political competitor.
Mr Trump argues that he has no idea who Mr Alenxander was and has never spoken to him or has never met him.
Mr Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, had earlier suggested that Lt Col Vindman and his counterpart Gordon Sondland, who evoked the US ambassador to the EU (European Union), got sacked for their statements in the probe.
Mr Donald Trump was acquitted by Republican associates in the Senate, though some disclosed they did not dispute the accusations against him.
Amid opinion that Lt Col Vindman was expected to get fired, Mr Trump stated he was displeased with him, and he seemed to recommend the verdict to be made different person.
He did not make it clear who “they” suggested but the comments came against a contextual of proposals that the NSC, which get believed to have about 180 workforces, to get reduced in amount.
Twin brother to Lt Col Vindman’s Mr Yevgeny Vindman was too sacked from his rank as a lawyer with the NSC, even though he was not involved in the impeachment procedure.
