The future of Information technology platform can be described as fascinating and intimidating in the same measure. The Information Technology experts predict that the data is projected to increase by over eight hundred percent in the next five to ten years to come. Concerning the two categories of data, that is unstructured and structured data; unstructured data is predicted to grow even faster due to its verses. The unstructured data includes; Blogs, plain text, standard and non-standard images, voice, sensor input, video, voice, and emails. Regarded as new information sources in the organization, unstructured data is said to have the capability of showing emerging relationships that the previous data was not able to bring to the fore. This future unstructured data is predicted to contain information from different communities, Social networks drawn from outside the organization and organizational groupings which will enable an accurate understanding of the market with the sole intention of actualizing taste and preferences of customers in mind.

To address this future uncertainty new graduate need to incorporate new skills in the areas of data storage, capturing and analysis. The tremendous growth of unstructured data in the world today should not be ignored because it already surpasses our traditional ways of data management. The known traditional ways of managing data have been described as insufficient and will not be able to contain the future data which is growing very fast. In the technological world today, the generation of data is real-time and requires solutions like parallel processing which offers an immediate response with time, (Huda, Maseleno, Atmotiyoso, Siregar, Ahmad, Jasmi, & Muhamad, 2018)

The future information technology professional should ensure to incorporate the skills that ensure to promote a culture of information. Curbing the challenges brought by crushing of the unstructured and structured data sometimes can be difficult. Having this in mind, the graduate should ensure that they have the skills that can drive optimum value required across the job market. Students of information technology should equip themselves with skills such as business intelligence, data integration, and governance to help organizations move from insight to action. Such skills and competencies will give them a competitive advantage in the modern global market which is characterized by stiff competition, technological dynamics and high expectations of employees by their employers.

Solving the issue of predictive analytics, aspiring IT professionals should adopt technology which includes real-time scoring and text analytics, ad-hoc analysis to aid in more actionable decisions. The evolution of significant data content has increased demand on data management than ever before; any existing database across the globe right now is continuously being fed data from a different number of sources, keeping this constant flow of data needs an upgrade in data strategies. Whether it is the act of gathering for testing, analysis or just requesting for data information, new Information technologist should ensure they have the skill which is up to date. Learners should ensure that they have the skills of Pure Data system, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA and much more, (Huda, Maseleno, Atmotiyoso, Siregar, Ahmad, Jasmi, & Muhamad, 2018)

Data integration is essential as part of information infrastructure to help synthesize and arrange the data. Data analytics ideas often flop when they do not take priority in creating an integrated architecture which supports the skills to critical success. New professional should embrace courses that cover a variety of integration techniques and learn how they can share data forth and back without any hitches. These skills can only be achieved when information technology student is incorporated in areas such as SAP Data Service, IBM InfoSphere and SAS Data management, (Huda, Maseleno, Atmotiyoso, Siregar, Ahmad, Jasmi, & Muhamad, 2018). Data integration is of Paramount importance in various sectors of business. For instance, the integrated health information system helps the healthcare providers access, share, and analysis the data obtained from patients in an effective manner, and for future medical decision making. Also, the integrated information system is being utilized in the education sector to store, assess and analyze the crucial data of students I learning is institutions.

Currently, data is anywhere and everywhere mainly generated by organizations. These organizations have design ways for the people to visualize, capture and use that kind of data. The future of this world depends on young information technology professional with exceptional skills that can deliver, think big and stay ahead of the rapid growth of technology.
