Why is education important?
Introduction
Education is an inculcating learning activity in which people’s knowledge, skills, and habits get devolved from one generation to another. Education’s significance arises from how people are supposed to make their lives better through knowledge growth and skill development. Therefore, the law requires all young people to enroll in schools beginning from kindergarten, primary school, high school to college or university levels.
Body
There are three primary forms of education, namely; formal, informal, and non-formal. Many people go through formal training and informal training, while a few people go through non-formal education since it is complex and based on personal experience. Formal education gets orchestrated in related forums and modules such as schools, colleges, and universities. In contrast, informal learning is typical of our cultural diversity and transferred from old to young overtime. Education has been accepted globally as a growth and development tool because it promotes future career and foundation for a country’s social and economic stability.
Education promotes progressive knowledge gain for future careers.
A Learning process equips young people with knowledge and skills in various fields of interest over time until they are confirmed to be ready for the job market. Education is diverse, and it gets categorized into multiple occupational areas where young people can decide on their career dreams.
Education is the foundation of a nation’s social and economic stability.
A literate society is elementary to govern than an illiterate society because there will be little or no room for mediocrity. Scholarly fellows are known to be law-abiding; thus, there will be reduced social evils due to their knowledge of the law and employment availability. Once a country is socially and economically stable, there will be an increase in production per capita.
Conclusion
Literate fellows can only realize education’s significance because they can compare their lives before and after acquiring knowledge. Therefore, education is the key to success in life, but those who still dispute the significance of education should try ignorance.
