A Fairy Tale

Frozen II is a sequel of Frozen I, an american 3D computer-animated fairy tale musical fantasy film by Walt Disney. The story, written by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee follows the life of Elsa The Snow Queen as she happily leads the people of the fictional kingdom of Arendelle. The queen has the extraordinary gift of creating ice and snow, and although she leads her kingdom into prosperity, the queen is strangely unsettled, and only finds out the reason why when she hears a mysterious voice call out to her. She travels to the enchanted forests and dark seas with her sister Anna, her admirer Kristoff and their snowman Olaf. While at the forest, Anna and Olaf accompany Elsa to cross the dark sea although Elsa throws the two on a boat and enchants them to swim far away from the sea in a bid to protect them from the dangers of the sea.

Do you think Elsa will make it to the cave alone? Why or Why not? Yes, Elsa will make it to the cave alone without the help of anyone. Having used her magic to get Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and herself through the enchanted forests, reconciling the people of the forests who have long been enemies, there is no doubting what Elsa can do. She is not only strong-willed, but she is guided by the spirit of her parents who equally continue to protect her along the way. Her ability to get through the enchanted forest is explained by her purity, in whichLieutenant Destinremarks at her ability to control the fire spirit, telling her, “you are the savior we’ve all been waiting for.” This special gift that Elsa has possessed all the way to the dark sea will ensure her safe passage to the cave alone, and find the answers she is looking for to save her people.

Do you think it was wise for Elsa to send Olaf and Anna away and go through the dark sea alone? Elsa made a wise decision to send Olaf and Anna away to safety, protecting them from the dangers of the dark sea. The two characters do not have magic the way Elsa does, which will put their lives in danger in case they are unable to protect themselves. During the fight to end the fire as they entered the enchanted forest, Elsa struggled to put off the fire herself, and protect her believed at the same time. Therefore, sending them away before embarking on the dark sea was wise to not only keep them safe, but also to rid Elsa of any distractions from her family. She will make it to the cave alone because she not only has strong magic, but she is strong-willed. Anna believes in Elsa to cross the dark sea and find a solution for the people of Arendelle, telling her that, “I believe in you Es. More than anyone or anything.” This vote of confidence expounds on Elsa’s ability to handle any challenge thrown at her, further proving that her decision to send Olaf and Anna away was for their safety.

How would I feel if I had to send away my sister and best friend the way Elsa did, and embark on crossing the dark sea alone into the cave? I would be petrified of doing the rest of the journey alone. I have come so far with their help, always acting as a team. I would feel as if I betray them but turning my back against them this way. I would also feel alone and scared because it means I have to walk alone, with no one else looking out for my safety. However, I would feel relieved to know that I have saved them from the dangers of the dark sea. From what I have heard about the dark sea, it is extremely dangerous, and the thought that I could lose my sister and best friend gives me the strength to send them away to safety, although it means I will have to complete the journey alone. Elsa tells Anna that she has to go to Ahtohallan alone because “the dark sea is too dangerous for us both,” which implies that she is acting from a place of love and concern for them both.

In conclusion, Frozen II follows Elsa’s bravery and determination to save her friends, family and kingdom. Although she is accompanied by her sister and friends, she makes the tough decision of sending them away from the dark sea to keep them safe. The queen realizes the dark sea is too dangerous for them to cross through together, and sacrifices her company for their safety. Although sending Anna and Olaf away leaves her more vulnerable to attacks, she takes the risk to keep them safe down the stream. She not only believes in herself to go through with the plan alone, but she is guided by her parents’’ spirits and the blessing and well wishes of her kingdom and the people of the enchanted forest.
