Rivalry
- Rivalry means a desire to excel or outdo others. It is
stimulated by another person. When rivalry
motivates to do one’s best, it adds to positive
socialisation. If expressed in quarrelling and
boasting, it leads to poor socialisation. Sibling Rivalry.
- Sibling rivalry means a spirit of over –competition, jealousy
and hostility for one’s brother and sisters. The younger
sibling resents privileges given to the elder sibling, and the
other sibling resents the affection and attention given to

- In Quarrelling: Two or more people are involved ; while aggression is
