There are three versions of proposals. They include; solicited proposals, unsolicited proposals and informally solicited proposals. Solicited proposals are mainly written in response to a request of projects. They are usually problem-solving proposals written after identification of a problem in a society or community. An unsolicited proposal is made in the response of a problem perceived by the writer. This version of the project is advantageous as it opens the eyes of a writer to the outside world. Informally solicited version of the proposal is written from the conversation with the person needing the proposal. They are usually as a result of a need perceived by another person. For the significant writing assignment, I believe unsolicited proposal writing will be applicable. This is because it aims at filling a niche in a society from the writer’s perspective.
