Learning
Learning is simply a natural, self-regulated aspect of gaining an insight into personal meaning from information and experience, filtered via a person’s unique perceptions, feelings, and thoughts. Different individuals possess distinct learning techniques. I possess diverse learning techniques based on the environment. Generally, gaining information and noting it down is vital; however, putting the newly acquired knowledge into practice has been one of my core learning techniques. Regular practicing of what I learned has been useful, for instance, in learning a new language. When I need further information to stick, I keep on rehearsing and stay put. Significantly the rehearsal of the for new information involves both verbally and visually, such as describing what I learned with a friend, taking notes as well as draw a mind map. Looking To remember what I learned in the past, the best way is to look for the correct answer instead of straining to remember the tidbit of information. The longer I try to remember, the easier it is for me to forget the answer in the future. What has worked to be the best in learning, especially in the past, is through discussion and teaching others what I learned. This technique aids in perfecting my memory skills and gaining alternative solutions from others hence diversifying my knowledge. My learning experiences highly relatable to the principles we discussed in the course from different perspectives. The general concept of the principles affirms that active learning incorporates diverse materials in more than one way, which relates especially by testing myself in study sessions. Therefore, learners require to reflect, monitor, and adjust their thinking abilities in the long run to achieve learning goals; hence, the ability to assess and monitor self-work accelerates learning.
