1.0 Introduction

E-commerce is a modern business methodology for the modern business that supports the requirements of the contemporary market. In generic, it can be defined as a digital platform for providing the opportunity to the customers as well to the sellers to purchase and sell the products online. The main objective of the E-commerce platform is to reduce the cost and improve the quality with instant reach to the customers. It provides the means of exchanging the paperless business information to the customers using the digital medium. The E-commerce platform provides the facility to its customers like cashless payment mode through credit cards, debit cards, smart card etc. with the 24×7 support to the customers. It provides a cost-effective method of advertising products and better business management solutions to its customers. By using the digital platform, companies can connect with global customers in a better way. Most importantly, through an e-commerce platform, the orders can be generated at any time that helps in better functioning of the sales and better analysis for pre-sales and post-sales. The sales report can be generated easily that allows the organization in better financial planning. Along with above e-commerce platform provides the facility of faster, reliable and efficient communication with the customers that helps in providing better services and developing excellent customer relationship too. It provides the feature of asynchronous transaction facility that automatically handles the communication system (Nanehkaran, 2013).

2.0 Background

Dudu Osun Black Soap for Acne is a popular product of the Tropical Natural Company Nigeria. The company is in the production and sales of the age-long African black soap that is made from the natural ingredients and herbs obtained through the tropical rain forest and savannah regions. It is prevalent among the users due to its natural features of protecting and curing the skin of the acne and also provides the glowing skin. It has no artificial colour, preservatives and is completely biodegradable. It contains a high percentage of calcium carbonate derived from diverse forms of wood ash. It also contains potash, an ingredient used in making lye. Lye is a common ingredient in most of the soaps. Dudu Osun Black soap has the right proportions for your use in the control of acne. The soap has natural anti-bacterial property that makes difficult for bacteria to survive on its surface.  The main natural ingredients in the soap are Palm kernel Oil, Cocoa pod ash, sheaf butter, water, honey, lime juice, camwood, Aloe Vera and fragrance. It is beneficial for the care of sensitive skin. The cost of one bar is £3.99. The company desires to have better customer reach for this soap and could get better sales in other countries too, and most importantly, in the cost-effective mode (Shahjee, 2017).

4.0 Potential customers for Dudu Osun Black Soap for Acne

In this world where peoples are traditionally attracted with the beauty of the skin finding the potential customers will not be very tough and in the current scenario when the whole world is adopting the natural ingredients for their skincare. The main potential customers will be females and teenage boys too who in this age suffer from the problem of acne. The most definite appeal of this product is its natural ingredients, and the traditional method of preparing the soap is also the main attraction for the customers. Along with this, the soap will be adopted by the customers irrespective of gender and age suffering from any kind of skin disease and needs their skin to be cleaned effectively. The product should be introduced to the dermatologists so that they can refer to their patients, too (Basu, 2013).

Though there are many E-commerce websites with good content and proper response to the customers will help in improving the niche for the product in the market.
