I would like to nominate Hj Fauzi Bin Nordin for his strong leadership traits as OIM/ Head, Commissioning, and Startup for PFLNG Dua.
As a leader, he effectively fostered HSSE by having a continuous discussion, practice and demonstration. Rather than just placing a facade on it, his visible dedication to sustain HSSE and OE in day-to-day operations has brought success to the offshore installation activity.
He has led the team rigorously in planning, coordination, and resource planning. Thus, contributing to smooth and safe project execution to overall project progress.
He inculcates PETRONAS Cultural Beliefs elements by being able to identify and recognize PCB elements in action. He managed to pin on it and explain the PCB as well as ‘celebrate’ the moment. For being a host on board, especially during daily OIM meeting. He actively encourages the crew involving the contractors and partners to practice the use of FR with regards to PCB.
He is also stretching his limit to ensure smooth execution as well as a timely resolution of emerging issues while still complying with the Management of Change work process.
As a leader, he always holds on to Discipline of action; walk the talk, and enforces HSSE standards and practices onboard. The strict measure is taken to demonstrate the commitment to the HSSE procedure.
He has actively improved on competencies and abilities as well as rally and coach others to do the same to drive HSSE, and Operational Excellence result. Recently, he had issued 2 ZeTo (Zero Tolerance) rule violation to Contractors without hesitation and had affected the manpower due to 30days banned from the facility. His trait of being decisive and firm has demonstrated the project delivery objective transcends across organizations by collaborated for the greater good of the overall project progress.
A real demonstration of Shared Success has cultivated a Generative mindset on PCB not just to the team but also the organization.
