I might not have noticed this before, but I do now.
“The key to a lasting friendship is to express gratitude and appreciation for the smallest of gestures.”
I woke up today realising just how grateful I am to have you on the front seat of my half-broken car, riding through the bumpy road of ups-and-downs we call life. It just occurred to me that you’ve always been the support I need, both emotionally and physically. You were there to listen when I was at my lowest lows (okay not all the time), and there to celebrate when I’ve made it though little milestones and small victories I set for myself.
Although there were plenty of occasions where life made other plans for us, somehow, we have always managed to find a way to have our interest aligned. I love the days where we would talk sh*t about our crazy aspirations, but I’m even more excited about the bigger things we’re on to in the future.
Yes, let’s own an entire shop lot in the years to come.
Here’s to that gym chain, with a good grill place and a chiropractor centre side by side.
Here’s to the friendship I cherish with all my heart.
Here’s to our dreams, our sh*t talks, our naive ambitions and the big things that are just around the corner.
Here’s to us, the fools who dream.
Happy Birthday you never-replying-scumbag.
