2008 and 2018 shift
After watching a 2008 and 2018 shift happens video, the general impression is that the world is changing and growing at an exponential rate. Most importantly, technology is the change and the driver for change. Both videos make the impression that at any given time, the world is different than the world; it was a few years back more so in the contemporary world, which is driven by technology and knowledge.
There are evident significant changes in the two videos. In 2018, four generations traditionalist, boomers, Gen X and the millennials were working side by side, and yet they have a different view of the world. Moreover, the number of registered users of Facebook as compared to 2008 had grown exponentially to 2.2 billion in 2018. In 2018, the iPhone was an essential part of human life, yet they did not exist in 2008. Moreover, the number of internet devices has grown from less than a billion in 2006 to 9 billion in 2018. Notable is the change in Google searches every month, in 2008, 2.7 billion googles searches were done every month and which has grown to 151 billion searches every month in 2018.
