Moral Dilemma of Climate Change

Climate change has presented us with a controversial dilemma that is not inevitable to escape. The problems presented by the effects and consequences of climate change are becoming dynamic. Climate change has a long-term magnitude that will be felt by our children and our future generation. I resonate with the author’s idea that climate change has a serious international puzzle that can only be expressed in the following manner. Humans benefit immensely from burning affordable coal while oblivious of the huge price that will be paid by our grandchildren;  they will pay the price of our ignorance. I believe that we should try to control global warming and its adverse effects in order not to let our children and grandchildren suffer what is not considered their fault.

In addition, I agree that the sentiments that endangered status requires a global commitment to mitigate. Knowing what causes global warming, the world environmental program must strengthen their research and focus on better ways of reducing the instigating factors that cause climate change. There are very many causes of global warming. In 1850, researchers around the world reported that glaciers Waterton National Park have been disappearing from Glacier national park. Such parks should indeed be designated and placed as one of the endangered places in the list of world heritage committee. Such petitions and amongst others should be enforced to ensure that better mechanisms of engaging climate change are imposed. I accept that the greenhouse effect is another effect of climate change.  Therefore, greenhouse effects can be reduced by better fuel efficiency by automobiles and the standardization of fuel-consuming appliances.

I agree that we have a responsibility for future generations. I believe that, as far as the essence of environmental conservation is concerned, our obligation is to ensure that we prepare a conducing environment that will not compromise the effective living of the future generation. I agree with the currently ongoing research about climate change. Lisa swan from National Wildlife Federation is currently working on a project called a recipe for disaster that is about an extinct bird. I support their conclusion that the current ongoing projects for mitigating climate change will have no harm to the extinct bird. I believe that a similar effect is bestowed on the life of human being and hence the future generation. One of the methods to save the lives of the future generation is by, first of all, protecting the life of extinct plants and animals, which owes the suitability of sustain human lives (Harding, 2013). It is true that human being depend on the natural ecosystem for survival. I agree that the effects of climate change have a huge impact on the natural ecosystem. According to the arguments by Swann’s group, water is a natural resource that supports the life of most species on the earth’s surface. Any attempt at water pollution by greenhouse gases, carbon gas emissions, fuel emission, or industrial oil spillage will finally terminate the life of the endangered species, including human beings.

In conclusion, I believe that we should vest our effort in this scheme like never before. I am in support of all the projects that currently being facilitated on the study of the effects of climate change on aquatic life. Similar projects will assist the environmentalist in resonating with the environment required for human survival. If we can adjust such obligation, the world will achieve an average score of 60% increase in environmental conservation. I, therefore, support the idea that climate change is a project of human being, and it is the same human who can devise a mechanism of either changing or assuming its impacts to sabotage their own life.
