In such a manner, females are commanded by men, a component they share with nature in this content. This suggests that nature and women are correspondingly placed in a similar position. They are moulded by a similar rule of mistreatment. The relationship between women and nature is the result of the dualistic reasoning which describes Western societies (Koziol 494). Consequently, it is embraced by anthropocentrism and the Master model which favours masculinity over femininity. ‘Mother’ nature, being feminine, is too much abused and exploited, similar to the females in the novel.
