A Person’s character speaks more volumes compared to their words and looks. Words can easily be fabricated while looks can be deceiving most times. A character, on the other hand, is something that gives you an insight into how a person is and how they treat others. There is one person whose character I found to be attractive and wonderful in general. Being around her felt like a breath of fresh air, Simply amazing. She is a person one can easily misjudge from simply looking at her because she is always straightforward. If one does not know her, then you would think she was a snob or rather a rude person in general. I was one of the many people who misjudged her at first. I thought she was a rude girl because she never talked to people unless she had to. I never knew she would have such a positive impact on my life.
Her name is Muskaan. She has beautiful enchanting green eyes. The ones you can just stare into and get lost because of how unique they are. Her long, waist-length hair was so black and shiny one would have mistaken it to be an extension because of how silky it felt. Muskaan was of average height and a fair complexion. Her skin looked like she had a tan done on her. She has curves in all the right places as she is neither slim nor chubby. Muskaan was a mystery girl to many people. She was an exceptionally beautiful girl, but no one had the guts to approach her and get to know her. She was simply an enigma; no one knew or understood her. She was the “Quiet mystery girl” of the school. She had an aura around her that demanded to be noticed in a room full of people even when she did not talk. The way she walked and carried herself around, one would think she owned the place because of the attention she received. The majority of the ladies were jealous of her, while men could not stop admiring her looks. Her perfume also left many mesmerized; it was never strong. It was exotic and gentle. Her scent gave off a gentle and warm vibe to those around her. Her scent reminds me of vanilla and sometimes the smell of mother nature, So gentle and refreshing.
My first encounter with Muskaan was quite interesting. I had arrived late for my literature class, and the only seat available was the one next to her. We ended up being paired together, and that is how we became best friends. Looking back to that eventful day, I am happy that I sat next to her because if I had not, I wouldn’t know what a wonderful person she was. I would still be judging her based on how others saw her, rude. She is a very warm person. She does not talk much to strangers, but she is very talkative to people she is comfortable with. She likes being alone but also loves and enjoys being with her friends. She loves to watch horror movies and eat ice cream. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her younger sister, who is only ten years old. She is very protective of her loved ones. Apart from spending time with her sister, Muskaan enjoys swimming so much that she has won major awards as a teenager. She is simply an outstanding girl.
Muskaan likes following a routine. It amazes me how she always seems so organized. There is a way she likes her things arranged; the way she follows her schedule to the latter is admirable. She likes waking up early for meditation before embarking on her daily routine. I find this particular routine very refreshing because it helps one clear their mind and starts the day on a positive note. Apart from meditation, Muskaan loves having coffee every single morning before anything. She always says, “You know coffee stimulates your brain cells, so you become active throughout, I can’t go without it, or else I’ll be a zombie the whole day.” I always laugh when I hear her say that she cannot go without coffee because it is true. She is also one of the few people I know are very chirpy in the morning and always in a good mood. Being in a good mood in the morning is something I don’t think I will ever understand because I am not a morning person.
Muskaan loves the color grey and purple; she says purple reminds her of lavenders she loves while grey is a calm color. She associates grey with peace and serenity; she says grey has a calming effect to it.
I am a lucky person to have a friend like her because she taught me some of life’s greatest virtues, which are Humility and kindness. She is such a humble and kind girl that being with her and talking to her gives off a beautiful feeling; freedom. Freedom because she is one of those people you can talk to, and they will not judge or make you feel inferior. If anything, she will listen and advise when needed or just be there for you as a listening ear. Other things that make me proud of my best friend is that she is real. She will tell you when there is something wrong when she is annoyed or even when she is happy. She is someone who is honest and will not tell you something just for the sake of it. Muskaan is simply a rare and priceless gem.
