Fast foods
In the 20th century and years before, people were cautious of the foods which they consumed. Eating fast food foods which are often made of processed food substances and having high-fat content was an alien activity. Research on healthy living holds that fast food contains a high cholesterol level, which is harmful to individual health. Statistics indicate that members of communities where members take
fast foods, the rate of cancer, and cardiac disease is high. In research conducted by xx to investigate the effect
of fast foods in American society, xx found out that 5% of people who take fast food are prone to hypertension and cardiac-related diseases. However, this financing does not imply that fast food is the primary cause of heart
and other related diseases. A doctor I have witnessed cases of people who eat from their home and still end up with heart diseases. This is then begs for a question how can we protect our
from chronic diseases. From a doctor’s perspective, I believe the way to survive is eating fruits and vegetables.
Unlike other food types such as carbohydrates and proteins
which when consumed in excess and
converted into fats and stored in the body tissues in form of fats – which is a key component that increased our vulnerability to heart and diseases, Fruits and vegetables are directly converted into sugar and absorbed into the body system. This helps escape the process that leads storage of fat storage in the body. Several research which research conducted in the past indicates that vegetable fruits are one of the few foods that are quickly converted
into glucose and absorbed by the body. By a simple fat that consumption of foods and does not lead to accumulation fats in the body , consumption of fruits and vegetable is a sure way of leading a healthy life.
For more than ten years that I have been in the medical field, I have found that people who regularly consume fruits and vegetables are less prone to diseases. Fruits have a lot to offer in enhancing our immune system part form the rich vitamin that fruit and vegetables contain fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants, high fiber content, and phytonutrient, which have immune-boosting capabilities. These properties have been the basis on which doctors worldwide recommend the consumption of fruits and vegetables. If people do not reverse their current trend which is marked a reduction in consumption of
vegetables and fruits in preference for the processed foods , then surely many of us will dies due to
diseases such as heart diseases which are majorly caused poor lifestyle
