The candidate interview is an essential element of the hiring process. In this case, to recruit the most experienced applicant, human resource experts, including the hiring manager, must be knowledgeable on how to conduct interviews efficiently. If conducted efficiently, the interview enables the employer to decide if a candidate’s skills, experience as well as personality fulfill the job’s requirements (Deadman, 2016). Consequently, interviews assist the employer in evaluating if a candidate would likely fit in with the organizational culture.
