- Place yourself in the role of managing member of an LLC raising capital for an investment opportunity.
- Your job is to use the case competition for which you are enrolled (We choose Bank of America Case) to:
- Produce an investment offering letter (narrating the opportunity, market, investment climate, and risks), a DCF financial model, a partnership distribution waterfall, and an organizational structure diagram + description/analysis; and
- Produce a 10-15 minute power point presentation describing your work in 2a.
- Adapt your letter and presentation to the market scenario assigned to you below in the Scenarios section. Please address the implications of your scenario throughout your letter/presentation—especially how it influences your project risk/return profile, any deal structure implications, and other pertinent aspects of the project.
- Please write in complete sentences and refrain from using the first person. Double spaced.
- Page Range: Minimum 6—Maximum 10 (excluding models, charts, tables, & references)
Scenarios
Assume that:
The single-family market is in a state of decline and has lost value for the last several years after not having gained value for several years prior. Discuss and evaluate the implications in your letter.
Note
- Review the excel file and go through all important data. Create your own DCF Financial model and partnership distribution waterfall in excel (all data is given in excel) Do not just copy and paste excel that we have been given.
- Focus on questions, must be clean and detail analysis/answer.
- The PPT is just following your letter to discuss and analysis, title and name is required in your first page, key elements/points. Make your each slide to be cleared
