Overview: Bring Your “A” Game!
Present a case study of a couple and your ideas for their special event or dream wedding and use the A8 formula to breakdown each area of the event experience (This a made up case study, therefore, you cannot use a real event that has already been done.) Refer to Chapter 13 for more information about the A8 formula. Present your project as a visual walk-through of your ideas for this couple’s event as if you are trying to win the project/business of a new client. You will use real local vendors options, such as local venues in your area, photographers, florist, rental companies, etc.
How to Get Started:
- Review ALL requirements below.
- Create your case study: start by describing your couple, include their background, style, and color choices. Then create your A8 formula breakdown and go from there!
- Student Project Gallery: You can find examples of students projects to help you brainstorm ideas.
Acceptable Presentation Options:
- Google Docs
- Google Sheets
- Google Slides
- Google Sites
- Wix
* All require a link to Pinterest Inspiration Boards. Pinterest should only be used for gathering vendor images and creating graphics and inspiration/mood boards for visually communicating design concepts not as a presentation option (Assignment 1.3). Also, Canva is a great tool for creating inspirational mood boards for Pinterest, but should only be used for creating your pins and not as a substitute presentation option.
