Georgia Cal Motor Company we’re in Newport, Arkansas. My name is David black, and this is my good friend, John G. Pennington. Mr. Pennington. Good morning, sir. Well, what I owe you? Nothing, sir.
That ain’t what you usually call me. A lot of things but not mister. Like Miss, You can call me anything. Just don’t call me late for supper. Exactly right, Well, here we are. I was thinking about Saturday being the 15th of August, and I started sweating. That’s when football practice started for us back in the day. I woke up that morning I’m sick in my stomach nervous. Scared. Are you thinking, boy, here we go, guys? Are they too? Yeah. Oh God, they horrible, but I went over there, and they said I didn’t qualify.
Was there some particular reason why that you weren’t? Weren’t in the qualifying pool? I guess
I’m not big enough anymore. I don’t know. I don’t know. Maybe it’s my age. They don’t want almost 70 years old out there, I guess.
You know what, John, I think you could still fly.
I could play one or two downs.
I bet you again
53 try out
we’ll run that. Number 64 for the newborn greyhounds, we’ve talked about this a lot. We’ve done shows on here newborn everything butter round, or they start, so I know John doesn’t look like a pulling guard. An offensive lineman and you played right beside the brand boys
played between them. I get emotional shifts to fail. So bogus. Got
it? via mail, he got a scholarship wherever we want to do what’s the name of the fraternity ran
Sigma Phi Epsilon that’s
the that’s the that’s the one you got. So when I go
played intramural football, and I tell you what is mad is rough is his high school ball. You got a bunch of college guys who hurt their knees or didn’t make their grades or dropped out in there, and it no pads. You know, you’re playing against tough games. Yeah, Bull flag ball mob a rear end. Rough. But anyway, I got all that I want.
As you Indian graduate, I issue Indian grades. We’re not Red Wolves. We weren’t Red Wolves then, but we’re Red Wolves now.
Yep. And hopefully don’t play I got my tickets got my foundation paid. We’re gonna try to go to the Memphis game, and once you see that, we’ll just go and see what happens. I can’t control anything other than how I feel about it. And I feel good about
There you go.
Like I can’t fix anything but I I can. I can change the way I feel. And I feel good.
You know even at Georgia Motor Company around northeast Arkansas and around the country. I mean, college football, high school football, such a fiber about what We do and what we do on Friday nights and Saturdays and
Did you see the dollar implications on sports nation it’s in the billions because of ticket sales and concession sales and parking all the things that go along with that and the loss of revenue is in the billions man you know I’ve never I’ve got close to a billion How well is it is a hundred of thousands as close as I got but, seriously man it’s a huge, huge thing, and I hope I know several conferences have declined to play they’re not gonna play but as us go play Kansas State I didn’t know they don’t play Kansas State in Kansas. Yeah, good. So pick that big 12 teams up hope we show up do well hammer time let’s just go on about our business. Everybody be positive, say your prayers. Do the right thing. Man the budget if everybody would just do the right thing, everything be fine.
And I think everything’s fine. Everything’s fine and George Cale Motor Company. We’ve got cars. Our inventory is a little. We talked about that each and every week. It’s a little low, but we get more, and we’re selling them.
And if you have a nice car that you can’t use anymore, we need your vehicles. We’re at the top, I just explained to David, but I’m going to buy a new truck. I didn’t want one. I really didn’t I love my truck. But the price of the day that they’re going to give me for my truck in what I can buy a new one for. I’m going to match paid for I got no car payment. But and I told you the numbers on it’s astronomical. So if you’re looking to trade right now, come in here and let us work a deal.
I think the numbers being astronomical are these numbers. And we talked about this that the used vehicle that you’re driving, if you’ve got a clean light model pickup truck, it’ll bring blood and I listen, I’m telling you if you shopped last year, somebody made you an offer for your truck, and you said I just can’t do it for that or bring it on in here this year. So tell me that’s what I did. Yeah, you got it. You had no idea you were gonna get from your trailer. They
were doing some things here. So we’ll watch mine worth, and they told me Acid Galilean at 84 Canyon was sitting up there, I said, Let me get the key to that thing. And I looked and see what I could trade for. I said I gotta do it. I don’t really want to do it, but it’ll never be better than that. Anyway. Some cars you won’t turn
on air now I can just talk about what
we sell cars with our center of
the universe. It’s right here. Right here drop when sash nacra You
can’t miss this right here. You know right off that highway. Right? You’re right. Yes. You can’t say it’s we’re right. Also,
rock and roll highway 60 said is we rolled we’re rolling. Let’s roll on some cars. 2018 Chrysler Pacifica it’s a limited. What does that mean? It’s got everything all the power. It’s got the heated and cooled seats. It’s got navigation. All of the doors are power operated the tailgate’s power-operated navigation sunroof 36,000 miles. I don’t know what it listed for but it was a bunch 30,800 doesn’t look like a van. It’s a good looking vehicle. Good chrome wheels. Everything works. sunroof navigation power everything on it come and drive it. You like this vehicle?
Well you can get a lot of people in these things and let me tell you what John I mean it’s that time of year with football here and football you know, we’re going to play football, and we certainly hope we’re going to play and if you need to take the cheerleaders, you need to take your group of people with you to to the football games. Now she used to have
all the seats fold so if you if you’ve got something you need to be a great vehicle for somebody who has to carry a lot of samples in their business or something that they want to entertain people maybe take them to dinner, there’s a lot of room to sit but the seats fold and stow and go when you put all that stuff down and carry all your samples, your luggage. Just come and drive it. See what you want to do about it. We’ll do everything we can to get you in.
I had a gentleman asked me the other day he said, would you please mention at the top of the show instead of waiting till we get through the middle of the show? He said I watched the show intently if I know about the windshield wipers up front, so they watch the whole show instead of showing five or six, and no one was in the audience.
No, he wants to know from the get-go
Yes sir. So free or not
either. Still layer. Oh, you’re kidding, we’re still going to do it. And if it’s got a rear wiper blade, boom, it’s in there too. It’s a 342434. I don’t see how y’all do it now, I’ll tell you. We had a need to use them very much. And I wish it I wish we get a couple more little showers. But they’re going to be on there. They’re going to put them on there. It’s going to have a radio it’s going to have a, you know, rock and roll radio and it’s going to have the cool breeze.
Coming through John g. s. George County, Motor Company, Dane Elliott sighs all all the signs family and for many, many years, George Cal Motor Company been taken care of folks just like me and just like you folks that just work hard for a living. And I do work hard for a living. I know that I’m sorry.
I know this. When I buy an automobile. I want a fair deal. I want a fair price, and I want somebody that’s going to take care of me, and that’s what I get at George, you’ve done it for you. You sold a car. So you know, I mean, you know, you know what, you know how it works, you know, the ins and outs and the financing and all that kind of stuff. So Yeah, we try to treat people right. We have to make some money to pay the electric bill or Hey, but but we’re not one of these; it’s going to take advantage of you. We don’t have things marked up $6,000 right. We just don’t Dane said if I got to do that. I’ll just go back to farming. You’re going to make some money. We have to. We’re going to treat you right. I want to show you this vehicle. I think we might have shown one of these before. This is the Encore gx. This is bigger than I’ve seen them. Yeah, look at that grille. So it’s got special grille, special wheels and all that is a gx. Now it’s bigger than the regular encore. But listen to this. This is one that was in our CTP unit. That’s it customer transportation. We’ve got about 3100 miles on it. Heated seats power liftgate remote start lane departure, warning, side blind alert 18-inch wheels. It’s got locks at about 3000 miles on it. It’s a sport touring package which gives you the blacked-out top of it and that Nate good wheels, great looking car. sticker on this thing is 29 350 55 with our rebates and General Motors rebate 25 to 52 great looking car it is it’s I thought
it was kind of 35 or 36 on our list is what
it looks like it is, but you know it’s a great car and again, it’s bigger than a regular encore. It’s a gx a little bit bigger, a little bit more refined, sharp-looking car. All you got to do is come out here and drive and I think you’ll love it it’s got remote start you know, one of these days going cool off, and if you’re going to throw a stone you when you’re inside your house you hit a remote start, you come out here the winters are default the everything’s cool in the summertime and warm in the wintertime man it’s like having somebody walk out there to open it and do it for you. They just won’t drive itself. It will it and it not yet. Oh yeah, well, one of these days it’s got its common metric encore Gx 25 252 Km drive it
you see the number at the bottom of our screen you see our website at the bottom of your screen George Cal Motor Company comm we’ll move on to the next one. Just remind folks that if you want to look at all of our inventory and we do have other inventory We don’t have any inventory we’ll try to find you that inventory but there’s plenty to look for at George camel motor company.com, or you can call us at that phone number right here. We fail on a Monday we show our show a couple of weeks we try to do one every other week. Sometimes you just get in a position where we we don’t get one offer you know we have to go three weeks but most of the time John where every other week because we’re turning in one toy and we’d
like to show. Let me tell you a story. You saw me when y’all came up you text and say we were ready. This morning. Nylon dollies that Saturday before I left because I’d be ready, you know when you got here. Well, and sound we took off with one’s got a friend at wonted Elliot there’s a guy that wants to drive I had a truck down here 19 so right he took off with it. Brian Prince took off with the 2012 terrain. So I’m out here. I’m thinking I got nothing to show. So I’m out here running around crazy trying to find vehicles to put it in the show at the last minute. And this is one of them right here. He’s still got some stickers on it on the back. This is a 17 GMC Acadia. It’s called radium, not it’s not named winterberry. This is a radium which is a dark, dark grey. It’s got second-row bucket seats. It’s got a sunroof; it’s got the head-up display like a Denali that shows you everything up on the screen. It’s got 48,000 miles on it. This is this is a client. They call it a classic. You know the new body style that we show so much on the kts are smaller right this is one of the bigger one’s second-row buckets, heated seats power liftgate black heated leather DVD player in the roof it’s a loaded up vehicle Let’s listen to this price. 28 four that’s a good that’s a good buy. Yes sir. Good bound. A lot of people like them more than the smaller ones. Some people like the small one but this is the classic. This is the big one. This is the full size one. It’s a seven-passenger you got to to use.
You’re over my head when you get up above. About everything. I go to everything. I got it. I got it. I
can walk onto the car and change. Oh, nothing bumps my head.
JOHN G Pen into the George cow motor
drive this one David This one’s a good one this is
the Deal of the Day. They’re all deals of the day aren’t that
I’m gonna show one down here. I really like some people not gonna like it, but I like it’s called Cupertino
copper. Oh, I love those colors. And there it is. It’s different.
That is to anyway yesterday we’ll move down the line.
Moving on down the line with John G. Pennington. JOHN g Chevrolet. What do we have here?
This is a 17 Chevy Cruze. We sell a lot of these. You know they’re not the smallest. They’re not the biggest they’re intermediate size. They’ve been around for a while. They’re proven on a row great little car. This one has about 36,400 miles on it’s got am FM XM Radio. It’s got two rear cameras got two 1.4 liter engine, great gas mileage, plenty of PIP when you need it. It’s got heated seats. They’re cloth, but they’re heated $16,900 goodbye on this one. This was a Dark metallic gray almost Iridium. In fact, you know what it might be your radio. Alright, might not be.
It might be the same colors that it could
be, or maybe it’s exactly the same only totally different. Yes, exactly. But it’s a good car 2017 Chevy Cruze heated seats. 36 for on the miles am FM radio, rear camera, great gas mileage 16 nine.
We’re gonna get to a Malibu here in just a second john, but you don’t need to talk about the Cruise. The Cruise is kind of been the staple of Chevrolet cars for the last, you know, four or five, six years. These are everywhere on the road and
see a bunch of them. They’re everywhere. They’re everywhere.
And we didn’t want to remind people if you didn’t say so at the top of the show, look, he’s got it. There free no charge. We will
not sell a car without him.
And y’all have done it for years continue to do so is it interfaces playing long term? I think so. Free windshield wipers on every card a lot, I think, and George Cal Motor Company were at the center of the universe. And again, we’re right off that highway right up there, rock and roll highway six
Save and Exit 85 Hey, come see us, or if you don’t have a chance to come, look at our website George kale motors.com. And like we say every week, if you don’t see an actual picture, if it doesn’t show George kale logo on the picture, it just shows a car sitting out in the field or, or someplace. That’s not an actual photo because we had just like that Acadia will just show right if you look that up on a website, it’s going to show a stock photo. Why? It hadn’t been through detail. It just showed up like over the weekend, right? So it hadn’t been cleaned up hadn’t been through the shot. You need pictures of it call any of us will take pictures with our phone and send it
every time I drive through here. Somebody’s out here doing this right here with. Oh, yeah, they’re good. Everyone. I’ve been getting a little picture of the phone incentives customer all the time. This is this is what it looks like. That’s what it’s been, and I’ve sold some cars you know, in in the past several years, and people say have you got any more pictures? He said no, the 67 I said she’s got that’s all I got 67. What if
you only did you want to see the pistons and the piston rings, I guess and the mud grip sunvisors. You know what? Problem reverse muffler bearings
There you go. One of the things that van I got in trouble by John and we probably didn’t sell as many cars what we should have is we didn’t have the free windshield wiper program.
Not everybody does.
We did hand by hand, and you know people would ask about so we can’t do that.
You just can’t do it, man you crazy
, yeah, that’s what I’m saying. Oh, a George Cal Motor Company.
Come on by and drive this guy right here man, you need to do
the Chevrolet Malibu. Next, we’re moving on John G. Pennington, where George Cale motor Kenworth, the center of the universe, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and pre o and Pre Owned and Pre Owned everywhere on our lawn John, we have Pre Owned cars except for those new ones except for the new
ones. And the ones that aren’t here yet and
the ones that are becoming here.
One a little bit bigger car. Yes, sir cruise you might have you might be like me real tall and long-legged. You need more man. Yeah, big man. 16 Chevy Malibu. It’s got 64,000 miles on it does have a rear camera. It’s got am FM radio. It’s got black cloth it’s got you know power windows power door locks cruise tail and all the stuff that you’re looking for good car bigger than the Cruise, but it’s a little bit cheaper car this is 14 eight. So if you’re looking for a neat looking car, they should got the windows already tested on it got decent looking wheels, it’s ready to roll come drive it. It’s a 64,300 miles 16 Chevy Malibu silver, black interior. What can I say about it just like the Cruise you see you’ll maybe where it’s a great car for the money. It’ll finance out with pretty decent credit for a long, long time will be multiple payments
on either one of those right there, you can get into just a payment that’s very, very rare.
So yeah, if you got decent credit, you go out, you know, just we’ll work with you. We’ll get to the finance department working and get to credit department colonies, financial institutions, and and bartering on your behalf. So he’ll find out what the best interest rate the best terms and all it’s going to do is lower your payment.
You know, and we talk about Charlie and what he does and Stephen in the finance department, and it’s so Important. And you mentioned about negotiating the interest rate. You go in, you don’t have to you don’t negotiate the interest, right? He negotiates the interest rate for
you. He goes to this bank has given us five, nine, this one’s given us five, what would you do hit the three, nine absolute, you know, so whatever he’s going there, he’s trying to get the lower centers right to get your payment down. And so maybe that’ll, that’ll help you get the payment down. So you might consider an extended warranty. But if you say you know, my payments are cheap now, what would it cost to add an extended warranty? Well, you can get the bumper to bumper 200,000 miles for this, and it’ll raise your payment $25 a month, 20 bucks, whatever it is, depending on how many months you find it. That’s what he’s trying to do lower your payment as low as he can so he can give you everything he can get you for the money
and on any of these cars. If Charlie fails to mention to you about extended warranty, you might just ask him so how much would it extend your warranty on this car, but let me say he’ll ask you more. He’s trying to get the protection for he
is and and boy I’ll tell you what, it has saved people hundreds of thousands of dollars. I mean, it’s I just, I just bought a warranty on my truck right two weeks ago. I bought it up to 100,000 miles well now I’m going trade. Well, it’s within 30 days, so that is flat cancel out, I’m not gonna lose my money. But I know what an extended warranty can do for you, and my truck has 47,000 miles, right? So it’s still got a little bit trends on the power triangle, but not much nothing but a bumper to bumper and that’s where those things happen. Mainly it’s not transmission and engines anymore. It’s electronics. Absolutely, because they have so many computers and those things cost money so that’s why I bought the warranty. I’m gonna cancel it because I’m buying a brand new truck right? And I might put a warranty on it, or you go take it up to 100,000 miles every time.
JOHN G. I here’s a here’s one right here, my friend.
Here’s one we were talking about previous one on a lot. He just bought a couple of these. This is an 18 GMC Terrain. It is an SLA, so it doesn’t have heated leather and all that stuff. It does have heated seats, there cloth seats. It does have the power liftgate. It does have a remote start. It’s got Apple CarPlay, it’s got OnStar, it’s got a Wi-Fi hotspot, all the things that you know people are looking for there. They’re just almost standard things now. The color is copper Tino copper tenos, Cupertino I tan I think it’s yeah it’s kind of a broad well you know, my truck that I’m trading in was antique bronze closer. I think it’s an eight look at you know, some people you know, we’ve talked about the ice cream deal going in and going to 39 flavors may get vanilla, but anyway, copper Tino 24,500 miles listen 22 eight goodbyes. He bought as you know, he bought some and then he backed off because he got too high. Well, he found these he’s got two of these and he bought them because the price he got them right right, so he’s been passing up stuff because he’s not gonna, he’s not going to put a ton of money in something that we got to turn around and put more money in and have a little profit and put it out of the book. Cupertino. 24,500 miles 18 GMC Terrain. 22 eight
we’ve got more to show you coming right up john g as I mentioned we have inventory.
We got it. Here’s another one. While ago Elliott pulled a truck out that was sitting right here now, I’m sorry. Brian prints The Fresh Prince pool the 2012 terrain out of this slot. So I’m out here looking, and I got all, so I run back to the back just like he got that Convertino and that one back there the Acadia India Radio. The ones he bought last week I had to run to the back and find a couple more vehicles to fill these holes. This is a 17 Chevy Traverse lt it’s got cloth got remote start second-row book it’s, of course, he’s got the third row, so you got seven passengers it’s got a rear camera remote start am FM XM Radio rear air OnStar 29,600 miles bigger vehicle you know like it’s the same size as that old Acadia down that oh style located full size 26 926 nine. And let me look at something I’ll
be right back. Going back, he’s going to back to see if there is a windshield wiper
that I wanted to look at that, and yes it does have it, but it’s all-wheel drive all-wheel drive. It’s all-wheel drive, so when it if it does get cool and slick, you’ll be glad you have all-wheel drive. Makes it even worth more money 26 nine on the 17th Chevy Traverse
good car John G. Pennington where George scale Motor Company we sell vehicles throughout Arkansas. We sell them in Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee. We sell them around the country and sometimes at around the country and out of the
you know, I, I’ve never sold one at the horsehead nebula. I got the Milky Way. You know the horsehead Nebula never saw one there. Yeah, but you know what am I? If there’s anybody in the horsehead Nebula, looking at this show, and I think there probably are some people of different planets might be the one for you.
I thought you were saying something backwards? No.
No, y’all are horsehead nebula. That’s a real I wish I learned stuff that would have been meaningful in my life in my career.
But it seemed like
a lot of time laughs
Oh, you know what? I think I enjoy the show. Not, not for what the show is, but I just enjoyed me with you, John. Yeah. Yeah, it’s just it’s a lot of fun. I hear a lot of funny stuff, and it’s amazing what y’all don’t hear in between our little shots right here because that’s the funniest stuff and one times we can’t put that stuff on TV.
I don’t know. I don’t know you. If you like hanging around me, you got a boring life. But anyway, we’ve been friends for a long, long time brother longtime 2018 hit hit. We saw the, the Cupertino down there. This is an 18 SLE. It’s got 13,700 miles. Okay, low, low miles. It’s got black heated cloth. You know all these terrains are five passengers, got bucket seats in the front, you got a second-row bench and in the bags open you can fold the bench down in the back do you need room these have the push-button transmission you know we don’t have, don’t have a lever you just got little buttons it’s like
the 63 crossword
That’s right. Just lock that in mind that Nash and back that Rambler Ambassador my day I am 22 eight lot of warranty left David it’s an 18 so only got 13,700 miles rig courts and is the color right look in color. You know there’s two different kinds of rigs GM have you know, they had like red hot or or the orangey-red. This is that burgundy metallic and great color red quartz. Come and drive this car 2018 s le terrain. You better be careful if you come and drive it because you might buy
a car. Yes. Great looking car.
Well, I’d like to have a convertible john.
Well, those things are kind of hard to come by. You know we get a lot of high schools. People call and say do you have a converter? But we can use for my son or my daughter to use, and we got something with a sunroof you stick your head out the sunroof, but we don’t. We don’t. Don’t have very many convertibles but, but Elliot has a friend. Yes. Who He does? Yeah, I don’t know.
You know, right. Ah
yeah, he does. He has a lot of as a brand who didn’t just car anymore. It’s kind of set up in a garage. This thing is pristine. This is a 13 Mustang convertible. It’s got the leather; it’s got the power fold and top. It’s got 70 listen to it on a 13 model. Eight years old. It’s got 74,500 miles powerfold and got these great little car. Look at look at the paint job. If you look at the book on it, if you look and see what what the book should be what it says you know the blue book and all that it’s way under that
that’s a good buy. It’s a
good buy if you’re looking for a great look a little cars got the spoiler and all that owner powerfold and top and all the 14 nine comm drive it
we have one more unit that we’re going to go to we’re going to move right to it. We’ll move right along John. This is a unit that is not for everybody but let me assure you people buy these things, and this one is for somebody.
This is a 19 Chevy 3500 Express van it’s a 12 passenger van if you get to The 15th ATF CDL I understand you had to have a commercial driver’s license. This is perfect for a Boy Scout troop. It’s perfect for a church. It’s perfect for a company that takes people around on their outings and that kind of thing. Scott 19,700 miles on am FM Scott gray cloth interior got the got the popular 6.0 v eight engine in it. It also has trailer tow package. So if you’re one of those Boy Scout camps or church that pulls a little trailer to going out, it’s got their trailer tow package on it. It’s a 19 you can buy this, and I thought I thought this was wrong when I saw you get back for 25 eight.
I had no idea what I thought it would be for and it’s
and it’s already got running boards on it, you know, it’s got to rear air all the way in the back. Great vehicle, and as you said, it’s not it’s not an everyday vehicle, but it’s a great vehicle for people who need to carry 10 or 12 people. I’d pull a little trailer with them. You might have a business that I don’t work for come drive at 19 Chevy Express passenger van 12 passengers rear air and all rows 19,700 miles for 25 eight goodbyes
