The photo below on “Make Yourself Fit” is a Nike advertisement. Nike is a company that makes clothes and shoes, which are mostly sportswear. Many Nike customers are involved in sports such as basketball, football, athletics, and other games or those that love sportswear. This is a better way of advertising something that athletes love than telling them it will help make you physically fit. One of the requirements for a person to perform better in sporting activity is to be physically fit, as this will determine the performance in the game.

A person should be comfortable in a Nike during a sporting activity. With the model that it has on the inside making the shoe spongy, it has modeled the shoe, especially for outdoor activities (Araujo, Caldwell, & DeFanti, 2018). A Nike shoe is of high quality as for a shoe to be worn by a person in the sporting activity; it should be firm to prevent wearing out in the middle of the activity, thus injuring the individual’s leg. As it is in the picture, the man wearing the shoe is a strong man running who is probably a sporting man like an athlete or something of the sort. The photo below is mostly directed to the athletes interested in acquiring a shoe for real sporting or practicing. With the image displaying a man, wearing the shoe is meant to attract mostly the athlete, as they love their game. An athlete loving the game shows that they would be interested in purchasing a shoe that would be strong and survive the robust training activities that they involve every day.

With the advertisement targeting the athlete, it means that the shoe is reliable for their game. Athletes require a sturdy shoe for outdoor activities that Nike guarantees them in their company. Nike could not use a politician who does not wear sports shoes that they expect athletes to purchase. If in case, Nike used a politician who does not wear sports shoes in the advertisement, athletes could not buy the shoes, as they would not believe that the shoe was strong enough for them to wear. The only way to convince the athletes that the shoes are meant for sporting activities and mostly for athletes is by using one of the athletes to advertise the shoes, thus attracting customers from the athletic field. The marketing field uses strategy to market their products. It is not easy to expect that one would put up a Posta of an advertisement and expect customers to believe. It takes a convincing advertisement to attract customers to a particular product.

Nike’s shoe advert uses a person of color to make the advertisement. Black people are believed to be physically strong because of their excellent build bodies and success in sporting activities (Zhang, 2018). African and Caribbean countries that are dominated by black people are very popular with athletic activities, as they have reduced renowned athletes like Usain Bolt. It was wise for the Nike Company to use a black sporting man to advertise the shoe. This could lead to increased sales of Nike shoes in America and other countries that are dominated by black people. The advertisement is meant to target black people only, but it is meant to work to the idea that black people involve outdoor activities than white people.

After successful research on what quality of shoes an athlete or people involved in sporting activity would need, Nike did the advertisement so that outdoor activities would improve. Most respondents commented on the quality, which they suggested should feature a sports shoe’s qualities, which involved marketing it to the people who love sporting. An athlete was the best opportunity for the company to improve Nike sports shoe sales.

Nike shoes are made lighter than football shoes. The feature of lightness helps the shoes be favorable to the athletes, as they do not need heavy shoes to get tired quickly. The shoe is also very different from that used by a footballer. The shoe that footballers use has spikes at the bottom to hold a grip while playing football. The marketing strategy that Nike applied in this advert is very efficient since the message that the company needs to be communicated reaches the people that it is intended for. Based on the advertisement, Nike is expected to increase its sales for its products.

In conclusion, Nike has done a great job promoting confidence, fitness, dedication, proactivity, and health for many people through their advertising. They show active, healthy, and happy athletic people who look great about themselves and their bodies. More athletes are needed on the runway wearing Nike’s shoes. The athletic and fashion industry ought to be the one that exudes upbeat confidence and individuality, which can be attained by people who love sporting activities.
