We refer to your letter of award dated 26 June 2018 (Ref.No: LOA/VLD/RMSB/003/18).
We regret to inform you that we have yet to receive an update on the solutions for damaged glasses of four (4) units (E-03-05, E-01-03A, D-06-03A and D-09-03A) and to clean back the hard stains on the external windows of unit E-09-05.
We have engaged a third party contractor to inspect the damaged glass panels and they proposed to replace the damaged glass as per Appendix 1. The total estimated replacement of damaged glass cost is RM115, 800.00. The Management Office will discuss with the units’ proprietors whether they prefer options to replace the damaged glass or compensation.
In the event, the replacement cost exceeds the balance payment of the external windows and louvers cleaning, Rotol (M) Sdn. Bhd. are responsible for paying back the arrears. Failure in which the Management will deduct the arrears with the balance payment of external repainting works.
Kindly reply to us in writing within seven (7) days from the date of this letter on issues mentioned above falling which we will proceed with the next course of action following the provisions of your letter of award dated 26 June 2018 (Ref.No: LOA/VLD/RMSB/003/18).
