Parkinson’s disease Symptoms
The symptoms of the sickness manifest themselves slowly but surely. In some situations, they progress with almost invisible tremors in one of the hands. Even though the disease leads to stiffness or slowing down of movement, such tremors are very common. In the early stages of the disease, the following symptoms may be identified in a person:
- Bradykinesia ( rigidity, tremors, and slowed movement)
- Problems in maintaining a straight posture as well as imbalance
- Sudden and uncontrollable sleep movements
- Changes in the voice
- Masking also referred to as rigidity in facial expressions
- Writing in a cramped handwriting
These symptoms, however, change depending on the person. This means that not all people suffering from the condition will be subjected to similar symptoms. In mannerism, the symptoms occur gradually and are normally first sighted on one side of the body and eventually move to the other. Different people also experience the symptoms of the malady at different rates. People affected by the disease face good and bad days since the symptoms are known to fluctuate in many individuals.
