The Implicit Association Test
Discussion
I think that my results are fascinating. The Implicit Association Test results change every time I take a test. My Implicit Association Test results reflected an automatic preference inclination for the European Americans over the European Americans. Therefore, I don’t believe in the results since I treat every race equally. However, I also think that the concept of biasness exists. It means that I might be unconsciously biased toward the European Americans because of various privileges that they receive over other races.
Societies have undergone revolutions, but I still believe that discriminations in different areas, including job opportunities. Therefore, minorities cannot apply for major positions because of their anticipated discrimination (Zack, 2009). It is because most employers are concerned with the last name of the applicants rather than their credentials. Gender discrimination is also prevalent in the society.
