The purpose of this workshop is to complete one body paragraph of your essay step-by-step using the course pack instructions.
Thesis Statement: Biblical forgiveness is seen when God sacrifices His only son Jesus Christ to save the whole universe.
ASSERTION: Write your assertion below. This should be only one simple sentence. Please don’t forget to use the thesis key word (differentiation) and paragraph key word (method of definition) as they are written in your thesis.
The Bible defines forgiveness as when God sacrifices His only son Jesus Christ to save the whole universe, which is represented through definitions such as appearance, characteristic, and connotation.

From the Bible, the act of connotation happens after God forgives the sins of human beings, where they receive redemption and transform into new creatures.

Don’t forget to introduce a transition as suggested in the course pack, as well as context for the quotation (as indicated in the course pack).
This is apparent in the book of Luke as lamented by John son of Zachariah in the wilderness, “He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the vof sins,” (Luke 3:3).

Do not forget to include citation for any discussion that is researched. Try to rely on your own thoughts/ideas in the discussion as much as possible.
This means that a human being must repent through baptism to receive forgiveness. Forgiveness consists of actions such as letting go of the bitterness and transformation to a new creature.
EVIDENCE: Share evidence from the Bible that supports your key words. Don’t forget to introduce with a transition as suggested in the course pack, as well as context for the quotation (as indicated in the course pack).
From the Bible, Jesus Christ illustrates the need to repent sins, which he marks through his baptism by John the Baptist. Jesus Christ later dies as a sign of forgiveness after His father, God, sacrifices him for the sake of Human beings.
DISCUSSION: Write your discussion sentences below. Explain how the evidence supports the key words (thesis and assertion). Don’t forget to include citation for any discussion that is researched. This should be several sentences. In particular, focus on how the method (assertion key word) you chose is revealed in the evidence, and how it explains your chosen differentiation (thesis key word). Try to rely on your own thoughts/ideas in the discussion as much as possible.
With this in mind, human beings should seek repentance through baptism, as illustrated by Jesus. Besides, the Lord demonstrates his love for the human race through the death of his only son. The death of Jesus Christ marks the beginning of a new covenant between God and individuals, rather than God and the whole nation of Israel. Individuals must seek forgiveness of sins through repentance of sin, which is marked by baptism.
CONNECTION: Write your connection sentence here. Don’t forget to begin with a transition as suggested in the course pack, as well as include the same key words from your assertion, and a summary of what the paragraph discussed. This should be one sentence only.
Clearly, God sacrifices his only son, Jesus Christ, as a symbol of forgiveness, for the sake and love for human beings.
