Resources The following resources shall be required for the lesson: 1. Computer and projector 2. Power-point presentation and memory stick 3. The film: Stand By Me 4. 2 lesson plan proformas per student 5. Whiteboard pens 6. Flip paper
| Homework Write the name of the character you think you can relate to in the film Stand By Me. |
Hook & Do Now Check the film to know who you(student) relate with. |

Closure The teacher is to explain to the students how to identify the characters that people relate with. Class ends when the students are told about the discussion that is to happen in the following lesson. |
LESSON EVALUATION
Learning: Did the students meet the learning outcomes? If yes, how do you know? If no, why not? Yes, the students met the learning outcomes because their attention on watching the film could be easily observed. |
Evaluation: What parts of the lesson went well? Why? What parts of the lesson were unsuccessful? Why? Watching the whole film again without interruption went well because, at the end of the lesson, some students could quote the characters’ words. |
Students: What follow up is required with individual students? The students are to start who they relate to within the film in the next lesson. |
Future Direction: Based on the above points, what are the plans for the next lesson? We shall carry out a class discussion about the film. |
