Resources The following resources shall be required for the lesson: 1. Computer and projector 2. Power-point presentation and memory stick 3. The film: Stand By Me 4. 2 lesson plan proformas per student 5. Whiteboard pens 6. Flip paper
| Homework Write a full plot summary of the film while following the criteria that were taught in class. |
Hook & Do Now Check the homework of the previous class. |

Input The teacher shall explain to the students how to write a plot summary. |

Guided Practice #1 The teacher is to guide the students and answer questions involving a plot summary. |

Guided Practice #2 Ask questions on the outline stated about how to write a plot summary. |
Closure The class discussion ends with a preview of the day`s lesson and a recap of the plot summary. |
LESSON EVALUATION
Learning: Did the students meet the learning outcomes? If yes, how do you know? If no, why not? Yes, the students met the learning outcomes because they were able to answer the questions the teacher asked about the plot summary of the film. |
Evaluation: What parts of the lesson went well? Why? What parts of the lesson were unsuccessful? Why? The whole lesson went well, especially on the response given by students about the summary outline. |
