Security on the Internet.

The threats that Firewall does not protect one against include. First are viruses. Secondly, many hackers try to manipulate computer users into making their computer security vulnerabilities. Thirdly Overlooked Security Patches. It happens when organizing firewall programming is not overseen appropriately. For any product program, there are weaknesses that assailants may misuse this is as valid for firewall programs for what it is worth of some other bit of programming (Compuquip Cybersecurity | Enterprise IT Security Solutions). Lastly is the design mistake. In any event, when a firewall is set up on your system and has the entirety of the most recent weakness patches, it can, in any case, cause issues if the Firewall’s setup settings make clashes. The steps that one should take while connecting to an unsecured network are as follows. First, practice internet etiquette. It is done by avoiding working with sensitive data on an unsecured network. Secondly, using the correct systems. The wi-fi networks are not made evenly. Bank wi-fi and coffee shop networks are configured differently. The best decision is to choose the one which has added protection. Usage of semi-open wi-fi one may not have control over which networks to use, but when an opportunity presents itself, and one has to make a decision opt for the semi-open wi-fi rather than open systems (Lifehacker).

Another is to switch off the file-sharing option. One has no control over who uses the network, but one can control one’s computer. Some file-sharing options automatically assume one is in a secured system with other computers. The best option is to turn off the file-sharing option and keep the web associated applications and services to a minimum (Lifehacker). Lastly is having the latest version of the antivirus and antimalware. Being in public and using unsecured networks always enable the computer to be running an antimalware and antivirus utility check (Lifehacker).

In conclusion, the security on the internet has various challenges, which include patches, network security usage of weak passwords, sabotage, information security, and privacy, and many more. So, one should be careful when using the internet because one never knows who is watching.
